He's got a lot of cool stuff coming up.

Karl...sounds cool to me.  bad thing is Im a builder/restorer with pretty much no budget to work with.   One of my uncles owned a 70 Ford panel van he customized.

I believe they can be had either way, made to fit chassis of the Little Red Wagon kits.

Where can you get them? That looks pretty cool

First Gear makes the Econoline as a diecast.  I added decals to make it into the Ford Advance Vehicles support van in England.

You Brits might recognize the Don Parker trailer popular in the UK and Europe for transporting racers.

Gary..... I like the Econoline van and Don Parker trailer combination, and the Ford GT40 sits nicely on the trailer. The black and white photo of the 1:1 outfit alongside your diecast models goes together well. Today I received a delivery of some nice 1:24 scale cotton flags, comprising one pack of two France Tricolour and one pack of two Union Jack.

Tell us more about the Ford GT. Is that the Revell / Monogram kit? I'll be building that later this year. More pics please!

The Ford GT40 pictured is a K&B hard slot body mounted on an IMC chassis with Herb Deeks wire wheels.  The body style  is of the early original prototype.

I have been wanting to build some race team sets for some time....that one is cool..!    My issue is mine would need some of the AMT service car trailers with the tire racks and enclosures.

Can anyone imagine I'm in US car model mode lately...? :D

I got the two 60's Vettes second-hand VERY cheap (15 EUR all-in). The '60 is slightly started on the body, but practically new. But the deal for me was more about the '63 coupe...

The MPC Vette kit I bought because of its multiple building options. Last not least, the Monte Carlo snap kit is for my 10-year old son. I'm doing all I can to get him into modelling and he likes the look of this car. Now I'm annoyed I did not order another one for myself while they were on stock, as I have seen here what a nice model can be made of it with just a little work: http://www.rightonreplicas.com/blog/?page_id=1259

On the right hand side batch, some AMT customs tyres, photo edged parts for the '68 Mustang by MBM Munich, yellow and red PE side markers by Czech Truck Model, some great tyre decals by Fireball Modelworks and in the cardboard box a variety of rims by Scale Production for some future Porsche projects...

I just got my '72 GMC I bought off ebay, And I paid just $32.00 for it. I'll be working on this as soon as the weather gets nice and above 40 outside. Decal's will be traded off later as I won't be using those.

Le Simca est arrivé:

And I'm very happy with it! Nice glossy cream-and-forest green paint job with a well-detailed interior that would benefit from some detail painting. Side trim and emblems are tampo-printed silver and gold. There's a delicately molded roof rack to which you could easily tie down miniature luggage (or in my case, surfboards). Chassis detail is relief-molded, except for the separate tailpipe. No opening features, which I don't mind in this case. If you were very ambitious, you could saw open the hood and hunt down an aftermarket Ford V8-60 flathead for it. All in all a very nice 1/24 diecast for a reasonable price.

One odd thing: It's attached to the display base by four little screws with triangular slots . My friend Tom P. just got a 1964 Mitsubishi Debonaire (!) from the same company (Hachette) and he ground down an Allen wrench to fit them.

That Simca is cute as heck. You can purchase a screw driver for those screws. I had to buy one to take my Fuji camera apart.

PIcked up some scraps from an original GL kit on the cheap.  I wanted the rear-seat delete interior bucket for a project and I didn't really want to buy a whole kit.

Thanks for the photos! It looks very similar to the kit that I'll be building, right down to the decals.

The Foosemobile looks like it's going to have to be de-sectioned just at the beltline, but otherwise seems like what I want to do should work fairly easily.

Oia shua itz goin ta woik, det?

LOL, Not sure what brand of silver it is,but it is dry. You wouldn't happen to have an original set of instructions online somewhere would you?

Like to see what all is missing.
