Yep, Colonial Photo and Hobby. Always a good selection.

I go through Orlando often, but I usually take 417 just to avoid the downtown I4 cluster. May just have to make a detour, lol. Have you been to the Hobbytown in Sanford? Supposedly they have a pretty good selection too.

I haven't been there, but my wife keeps telling me we should go there.

I loved Colonial Photo & Hobby! Did you know it was originally a Publix? If you go into one, you can see it on the photos they have displayed on the walls.

Anyway, I got this stuff from eBay. The Riviera is unpainted and has most of if not all of the parts. Should be an easy rebuild. That mouse is just too cute. I think it's the original issue.

The Corvette I got about 2 years ago and completely forgot about! I found it trying to find another model I lost.

Been awhile since I've been in a real hobby shop (Hobby Lobby does not count), Andy's Hobbies in Glendale.  Since my Model Master clear red and yellow went bad, needed to try something else.  Also wanted to try another chrome paint.  And *had to* get the thinnest Tamiya scriber blade.  There were no car models I wanted, other than the Senna but resisting getting another modern exotic that needs lots of carbon-fiber decals.

I can't wait to see what you do with it. It's always good to see something that is junk turned into something cool. I love seeing these old cars saved.

I could be wrong but judging by the fender vents and side roof vents and lack of rear window divider this looks like a 1964 couple.  Not many of those around.

Right, it's a '64. And it has the rear window louvers that I think were only in that year, too.

My order from Geronimoworks arrived today.  One of the Center Lock wheel sets will go on a LaFerrari in the planning stage.

His work is like fine jewelry. These are 1/24 scale.

Those are nice! Never heard of them. Going to have to check those out. Is there a website?

This week's arrivals:

Corvette is primarily an engine donor, it came with bonus paint and glue. The Luv was fairly cheap and I thought it would be a useful source of parts to go with a part-built stepside version I already have.

However, it's been put together quite nicely so I think I'll give it some @Snake45 style detailing and let it live on pretty much as it is. For the sake of an hour or two of effort I'll have a nice display piece in the cabinet.

My scores from the Salisbury NC swap meet today. I was setup as a vendor and did fairly well with sales so....
The 72 Chevelle, 70 Buick Wildcat & the 40 Ford SD are all sealed in original bags. 37 Chevy is factory sealed.

Bought  8 plus sized used display cases for a few dollars over what a new standard display case is selling for now.
Also found a complete NOS Parma 4 inch FCR chassis.
Got one of my "Holy Grail's" with the 62 Galaxie! Very restorable but missing the firewall, rear glass, steering wheel and the fender ornaments. Going to try using the fender ornaments from the 61 or 63 Galaxie, if not I'll fill them in and do a mild custom.
40 Ford box is near mint plus it came with the unobtainable original headers and coned wheel covers with near perfect chrome.
