  1. Great job! Glad to hear your friend really liked it.
  2. Tax dollars.
  3. Great job on another car in which the decals look like they would have been quite the challenge.
  4. Great job. I agree with Bruce, those decals look like they would have been a challenge.
  5. Very cool looking! Great work!
  6. Great job Dann. She's a real beauty!
  7. Thanks for clarifying Dave. My point was not clear, but the assistance NASCAR provided reduced Revell's costs to produce the kits considerably. As stated if Revell of Germany is offered the same assistance, I have a difficult time seeing that they would not accept, unless the kits are unprofitable even at that reduced cost.
  8. Ron, the government always does its business by mail. The smart scammers will not use the mail service because that is mail fraud and the government still takes this very seriously.
  9. That is really spectacular! Museum quality work that's for sure.
  10. Great looking AMC!

Very nice. Great looking fade with the paint.
  12. Very cool. That would be a screamer!
  13. They all look great!
  14. As I recall NASCAR paid Revell a fee to produce the kits. I doubt Revell of Germany would turn this down if offered. What may be delaying this is that NASCAR, the teams and the car manufacturers are hashing out the rules for the 2021 cars. The manufacturers are pushing for a hybrid type of car, so this would dramatically affect model kits. If we get a modern kit again, I think it will be after the 2021 cars are set.
  15. I had the same problem as well. The way I got around this was to open Fotki in another browser and then drag the pictures into MCM. Not convenient on a laptop, but it worked.
  16. Turned out great Dann. Great job getting it across the finish line.
  17. Great work. Way to persevere with a difficult kit.

    Buick GSX

Great work! That generation of GM cars were among the sexiest to come out of Detroit. All of the GM divisions had gorgeous looking versions of this series of cars.
  19. Great work! They all look superb.
  20. Absolutely gorgeous!
  21. My suggestion is to get a scrap piece of plastic and see. I used the color and clear coat from the same company a few years ago and the layer of color turned to alligator skin. So using the same company for both is no guarantee that the result will be what you want.
  22. They will need a car for NASCAR. With Ford using the Mustang and Toyota perhaps going to the Supra, a sedan will look out of place, but the company has to make its business decisions.
  23. I bought this one a number of years ago and it sat in the closet. Finally started it about 6 months ago. It's built box stock. The body is painted Tamiya Dark Blue and the remainder is painted per the instructions. I did not trust the decals due to age, so I bought a set from Studio 27. I did not mess with the tires. I will scuff them and remove the mold ring, but they are so old, I was not sure they would handle the abuse. I colored the Goodyear lettering on the back tires with a gel pen and the fronts are decals. Anyway, it was a fun kit to build, but it shows its age in a number of places. Thanks for looking.
  24. Very cool! I like it a lot.
