  1. Thanks. No clear coat, just Tamiya compounds and carnauba wax.
  2. Thanks Michelle. No manufacturer info on the chassis, just Toronado.
  3. Not so much of a build, just a freshening up of an old promo. I'm not sure if it's a Jo-Han, hopefully someone can tell me. Thanks. Before: After:
  4. Thanks Les. That's exactly the information I was looking for. I went ahead and ordered one with the Wash&Cure. I plan to print parts and maybe try my hand at printing car bodies, just no limos lol. Thanks again.
  5. I'm ready to dive in and buy a 3D printer. I'm looking at the Anycubic Mono X. On their website they ask if I want to include Airpure and Wash&Cure machine. Do I need either or both and what are they? Also, what's a good type of resin to use to make parts and maybe bodies? Thanks
  6. I wish I could comment on the quality of MCW paint but each time I ask if they have or can mix a specific color, they don't reply to my emails (business must be that good). So I've been using Scale Finishes for airbrushing and Tamiya for spraying.
  7. Thank you sir Thanks! Lol. Thanks. I can't believe my wife never heard that saying. Thank you. The taillights were covered in BMF then red and orange sharpies and a mixture of clear and white for the backup lights.
  8. Thanks! Wow you're right. Dealing with all the other flaws I didn't notice that. Thanks Totally disappointing kit. Revell could have done so much better. Thanks Thanks Michelle. Thank you
  9. I was a bit intimidated hearing some say a black paint job is hard to get right especially since any paint job is hard to get right for me. But I think I got this one right. All Tamiya rattle cans, primer, color and clear, as well as Tamiya compound after wet sanding.
  10. Very nice. Nice to see a one of these built stock and with a vinyl top.
  11. Underwhelming indeed. Thanks! Thank you. Thanks! Lol. Appreciate it!
  12. Thanks David. Funny story. I worked at a dealership up until recently and was always paranoid about driving cars home. The Murphy's law thing.
  13. Thanks Mario. The interior is actually silver.
