My wife's been pushing me to get into 3D drawing but it seems a little daunting. Did you design those from scratch?

I've been retired since this past August. I too got tired of the corporate B.S. and all the mergers and org changes, and luckily I didn't have to take it anymore. I find myself doing more research, and learning about cars and models than actually building them. Part of it is that my daughters pet occupies my "one day" workshop, and I tire of having to set up and take down every night. I do spend more time on my models than before, but I get up every week day and after breakfast and newspaper (sic), I go to the gym. Then the honey do list. I have an inventory of my kits, and a build sheet for most of them outlining my build ideas for each one. I don't always stick to the original plan though.

I love the build. Hope you get it done in time. That IRS is sweet. Its a different take than what I did where I built the assembly and then attached it to the frame. Looks like you attached the diff to the frame, and then added the axles and A-arms. It looks very realistic that way.

Okay, so what is meant by this in the rules? Not trying to muddy the waters, just clarification for myself. "Commercial or military vehicles such as light trucks, vans, ambulances, pick-ups and utility 4x4 vehicles are not eligible."

I bought the 3D engine for my pending AFX Mustang build. I think its a nice engine, excellent fit and detail for the most part except the Ford logo on the valve covers. However I haven't painted them yet and they may show better with primer on them. The surface is slightly rough, kind of like cast iron in scale. Here I glued on the front cover and heads.
