  1. For those that don't know All current issue American paper bills are 6"long so that is a good thing to insert for scale comparison.
  2. Nice to finally find someone older than I am on the forums( I'm 75). I' m sure a lot of forum members would be interested in seeing some photos of your models. Where do you find your dimensions and other info for your builds ?

  3. until

Cam someone please post a flyer with a map for this show Thanks.
  4. Art Arfons would be so proud.
  5. "Tanks" for sharing your imagination with us !
  6. For a minute there I thought this going to be a diesel punk leva car theme build. Looking very interesting no matter what direction it takes. Thanks for sharing.
  7. Great way to break in the brand new model building space. Nicely built 'Burban with smooth paint and details. Thank for sharing.
  8. Sounds like it might be time to milk the goats, harvest your garden produce and sell both both to finance your next kit.
  9. Half bad you say? More like an inspired choice and mad skills in that scoop.
  10. Very convincing weathering and overall appearance. These big cars were very cheap at one time and probably more than a few found their way onto farms for whatever task needed doing cheaply.

    '30 Ford

Nice combination of parts to produce a unique model.
  12. This looks so right. I did the same transplant back in the '80's and combined the same '40 parts with a Rolls Royce body by Entex.I actually used some left over Pontiac Grand Prix interior parts including the dash and they fit surprisingly well.
  13. Great benefit of having a super job. What a great way to have something super cool to drive to a Saturday night cruise-in.
  14. I love it. Please share your weathering procedure with us so we can attempt something similar ourselves. Thanks for sharing!
  15. Looking really great. I have a real soft spot for these '60 cars since that was the year I graduated from high school. The color choice is right on the money for a period vehicle. Thanks for sharing.
  16. Her husband is obviously a car guy with deep pockets !
  17. Thanks Andy.Another very cool creation indeed with excellent driver visibility I might add.
  18. Your attention to the never seen underlying sheet metal parts of the cab and seats adds a very authentic aspect to this diorama. Well researched and executed. Thanks for sharing.
  19. Whoever cast it seems to have done a nice job. It could become a number of things including a very cool "bat-a-baker" crime fighter's ride.
  20. I know what that's like as well. I visit our local elementary school annually and share facts about the history if our little village. The teacher shows antique photos on a screen and I explain where they were taken and what we think might be if intrest to them. Most if those images are over 100 years old so they are all black and white. I have been asked if everything was black and white then as these kids have no concept of pictures that are not colored.
  21. It seems obvious that whoever created the master for this body never actually saw a real '53 Chevy !
  22. Cash was known as "the man in black" so that would be an appropriate paint choice.
