  1. LOL! Gregg, in some parts of the US of A, Pizza Hut is considered one of the better places to get a pizza, I know because I travel all over!
  2. Call me lazy, but I really don't have the time to scratch build a wrecker bed and rigging, but would gladly pay for a resin cast one. Either a Holmes 500 or 750 would be great to have and my first thought for a 500 wrecker would be to use the International cab that Charles Rowley mastered! I have a nice resin cast Holmes 440 wrecker bed that will be going behind either a Moebius 70's Ford or a Revell 78 GMC converted to 2WD, sure would love to have a 500 to go with it!
  3. The one to answer your question would be Gregg himself, as he is the keeper of the magazine and this forum. It is best to email him directly.
  4. Good luck with that, they are closed on Sundays.
  5. This sounds promising and hopefully we will see something by 2019!
  6. AMT just released a new set of 5 spokes and wide oval tires, saw them on the Modelroundup page, check them out. As others have said, Fireball has some nice, excellent detailed tires that would work too.
  7. If you are planning on lifting the Bronco and adding larger tires, I suggest you check out Fireball Modelworks as they have a lift kit and larger tires specifically for this kit. Joseph's stuff is outstanding and exactly what you need!
  8. Mopar fans, you need to check out Fireball Modelworks, Joseph has added some more wheels for Mopars!
  9. Impressive work as always! I enjoy watching you create these works of art Charles, you make it look so easy
  10. There is no amount of polish that will make that turd shine. I owned three square body 1:1 S-10's and there is all kinds of things wrong with that resin kit.
  11. Rumor has it that when they converted this kit into the monster truck kit they ruined it beyond repair.
  12. It is not currently in production, but scan eBay and I am sure someone is selling one. The trouble is that it is probably $200 or more. If you are patient, it could be re-issued once Revell of Germany gets it's US distribution figured out as I think they sell out quickly every time they release them.
  13. I finally got a chance to check my stash, they are Wrangler R/T's, but are the radial version and appear to be different tread pattern from those shown on the kit box. I think the early version of this tire would sell well, they would be right at home on some Jeeps and 70's pickups.
  14. I just picked up the August issue of Musclecar Review and lo and behold, they have an article on a 69 Camaro in burnished brown paint!
  15. If you have your heart set on 1/25 scale, AMT has issued several 55-57 Chevy pickups that would be a good start for the cab and engine. You would have to scratchbuild the frame and body and find some wheels, which might not be that hard to find.
  16. I will be watching, have a soft spot for Camaro's 67-69's especially.
  17. Nice, I have to get one of these, I have built the older one and they do come out nice with some detailing.
  18. Nice work. Haven't decided if I am going to go the camo route with mine, thinking maybe hugger orange and a black interior or try my hand at weathering and create a rusty old 4 wheeler.
  19. Well, if you can afford it and like the subject matter, then I see no problem with it. As far as the builder, if he has 100 hours in the build, then $13 an hour isn't a livable wage but it is a nice way to earn some money and know that others are envious of your talent!
  20. $4 a kit shipping is not bad, especially if they are kits not easily found locally or out of production. Paying for shipping is a cost of being in this hobby if you don't have a hobby shop nearby.
  21. I had a set of those Police Car center caps on my S-10 pickup back in the mid-90s. They were hard to come by and I spent a lot of time taking them off and on as they were easy to steal if someone wanted to. They definitely caught your eye if you knew what you were looking at. The 68 and newer center caps are also sometimes referred to as "Derby Caps" as they sit a bit higher than the 67 disc brake caps.
  22. IIRC, Alan Raab at Ma's Resin had those tires, but I don't think he is still in business. I will have to check my stash tomorrow and see if I have a set.
  23. I saw that, gonna get my pre-order in, maybe include the 65 El Camino too!
  24. My words exactly. Stunning as always.
  25. Maybe you can find a Moebius 69 pickup for it? Not sure of the release of the Moebius 65/66 Ford pickups, but that could work too. Maybe the upcoming 65 El Camino with the camper on the back would look period correct pulling that? Anxious to see your rendition of the camper, maybe that will get me motivated to build mine!
