  1. Red Glass, Re-tooled Chrome! Even Better Than I had Hoped! Bring it on.
  2. Buried in all the new product photos, did anybody notice the Wompin' Wagon '55 Box Art in one display? That Box Art is hard to miss. (Original Box Art Shown) Give me this kit! 6 Fresh Tires, New Decals and all the Drag Parts! I've been waiting for Round2 to finally release this kit. It will sell Very Well, I predict.
  3. Nice! What kit did you start with?
  4. Many of those B-52's have been that way for over 35 years. I saw some of them in 1985. The intact airframes provide parts to the current fleet. (In fact, the USAF "re-generates" one of the lower time planes every now and then)
  5. Don for the Win!
  6. Very Nice Bug!
  7. I would not be Surprised if that happens down the road a ways. All these kits are chosen because of the long-term sales potential.
  8. Thank You, Snake! Can you Get one of these next please? AMT Turned it into A Mod Stocker and ruined the kit.
  9. Very Cool! I am familiar with this engine. Great Work! Hope the Surgery goes well.
  10. This Kit is almost here. I wonder what extra parts it has? Or, is everything in the other kits already, just used differently?
  11. This kit keeps getting closer to a release date. I'll have to be getting one, even if it never gets built. I want the trailer, and I may use some of the parts for other builds. I look forward to having this kit.
  12. All were products of Everett "Boxman" Westphal a great Artist. https://www.bonediggers.com/2-2/boxman/boxman.html
  13. I've never seen any of the clear Phone Booth parts. I wonder if Round2 got the tooling for those parts from Lindberg, or if that tooling is long gone?
  14. Man, I sure like the Red One, in the first Photo!
  15. That is the 309th AMARG, at Davis-Monthan AFB. That is where they store many current Airframes, awaiting either recycling or as parts for others. The place is absolutely fascinating. I got to go through it on a guided tour back in the day.
  16. Easy to Mock. Harder to Do.
  17. It is a cute little thing. I can see why it never caught on. Wooden Bumpers, Fibreglass Front End, Small Bed. Designed for a market that really did not exist. It is no wonder they sold so few (1000+). That Said, I'd have owned one, just to be contrary. Be great for running down to the Coffee Shop to hang out with the Ole Farts every Saturday Morning..... With a Plymouth Flathead 6, it must have had plenty of power. When this kit does arrive, the AMT '41 Plymouth should give you some parts swapping options, since the Real Powells were built on Plymouth Chassis.
  18. Thanks, Russell. Another Rabbit Hole to go down. Looking at the photos, it looks like it would be cramped for anybody taller than about 5'10"! Your's sure looks sweet though. I I wasn't Fat'n'Old, I'd like one.
  19. Thank You, Tim! I suspect going forward that we will see that "What sells on Monday", will get more consideration from Model Companies, if only to try to eek out more sales beyond the now standard 5K production run. In this particular case< can see Ford Possibly helping behind the scenes with more than just information, in order to have a factory correct kit out there. Notice I say "Possibly".... I have no insider connections, and I am just Guessing about the future. As to this kit. I think the tires look a bit cartoonish and silly, but then after looking at some modern tire catalogs, many new 4x4 tires are looking cartoonish and silly, so I guess the kit tires are correct. Other than that, I cannot wait to build one. Can you see one in 21st Century "Baywatch" colours?
  20. You and me both, Aaron. I feel your pain.
