Riley, it is very true! My Son is now 26. His wedding in in October! But, I am so deeply proud of the Man he has grown into. WE do not always agree on everything, but he is a thoughtful, hardworking Man. I am glad to have raised him. Mu own Father is 85 an has advancing Alzheimer's. It is so odd to be in the middle of both ends of life.

I have yet to see it go down in California. However, the price increases are now a few pennies at a time rather than 15-20 cents per jump. So, there is that, at least. The rate of increase has slowed...... PTL for small favors.

Complete bonuses in kits
stavanzer replied to BIGTRUCK's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Man, I hope Round2 can find that Westcraft Boat. If they could find the Soap Box Derby racer, there might be some hope for the little boat. But, is it all on one sprue by itself, or were the parts integrated into the sprues for the kit? Well, we can hope. Round2 continues to produce small miracles from their old Tool Banks, when we least expect it. -

Man, I could get all that packed in a One Gallon Ziplok Bag. (In fact I have, more than once.) -

Wow, Snake, what a great save on that kit! Looks better now than it ever did. You truly work magic on these Glue Bombs. -
Izzat Da Aurora Kit or the Later R/M Kit? I can't tell. Sure is a great build!

What Terry Said. There are never enough of these Classic Cars built.

A fellow I worked for in the 1990;s had one of these in his shop. Sat in a corner, collecting dust, It was a Long Term Project Car, that did not get any work done on it, the whole 18 months I worked there. It was an Ex-Works Racer that had come to California some time in the late 1970's. It had a Full Race 2 Rotor Motor in it with 4 Mikuni Carbs. (or so I was told.) It had even wider fender flares than the kit, although they were beat up and cracked when I saw it.

Wow, a laser sharp build. The Colour Choice is one of the best for that body style.

Great Job. The colour is perfect!

Great Racer! I just found this thread. That Radiator is neat. Anybody 3D printing those yet?

Charlie Scott, I married one too. 27 Years ago. Still happy with my choice! (She gave up the spells after she got me! We've been Catholic for 24 years now)

Thanks for all the thoughtful replies. I am glad to know that I am not alone. There are some builders here on the board who complete such beautiful work, that I'll look at what ever they do. Other times, I see builds that just bowl me over with subject matter, even when the build quality is not quite as sharp. But, all who post here do really great work.

Cool Car, Thanks! A Fun Build.

Yellow Fever Competition Coupe, Keeler's Kustoms
stavanzer replied to stavanzer's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Ah, Thanks, Jesse! I had no idea what the optional Engine might be in the Camaro. Sadly, my issue is that I can find few Pics of that 427 in many Drag Cars. It seems like the BB Rat Motor and the Various 392-429 Chrysler Hemi's came to Dominate quite quickly, even in the 1960's. I think some form of Elephant would have been a better choice than the Underdog Ford Motor, no matter how much some folks like the Fords. It just seem like the Gasser and Fuel Altered's were were dominated by the Chevy/ Hemi motors. -
Thanks, Chris. I hope Atlantis can someday do something with the tooling.

As I said, can you really be impressed the Builders Craftsmanship and Detail, but still be totally turned off the Styling Cues and/or Subject matter of a build? Lately I've seen a few builds that are outstanding in their build quality, but just completely leave me cold, on Colour, Wheel Choice or Overall Look. I so badly want to like the Build, but they just turn me off. Am I the only person who thinks this way?

Yellow Fever Competition Coupe, Keeler's Kustoms
stavanzer replied to stavanzer's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Yeah, until we see an In-Box review of the Camaro, I have no idea what kind of Hemi it is either. It is just that the Camaro is supposed to have an extra engine, that gave me the idea. Between the Miss Deal Stude, this Yellow Fever and the Camaro, our "Cup Runneth Over" on 1960's-70's Drag Machinery. -

How Cool is that, Rex! Wish I could do that. A Bucket List, "E" Ticket Ride for sure! -
A Thread Starter for Discussions about this new Kit. IIRC, it has been noted to have a Ford Engine in it. I wonder if the Re-tooled Hemi from the "Jungle Jim Camaro" will fit in this kit. It sounds logical since both kits were tooled by Revell, and both will be coming from Atlantis now. A little judicious engine swapping might get you a Hemi Powered Fiat Screamer! Anyway, here we go.
