Look in HPI Guy's video. He has a good close up shot that you can freeze frame.

Holy Cats! What great Car. Nice work.

Oh Wow! That scratch built trailer is Da Bomb! Fantastic work.

Again Chuck, another Home Run. Nice Build. Needs an Air Compressor in the Bed. -

Man, I agree on getting somebody to resin cast an 8' longbed for the Chevy. I need one badly. -

Beautiful Build. But I was hoping for a 'Real' FJ not the modern version. -
Thanks, Casey. Looks like everything is still in the kit. Now, I gotta get one.

Just found this on Casey's Model kit instruction site. http://modelkitreviews.proboards.com/thread/984/smp-1959-imperial-convertible?page=1&scrollTo=1009 How many of the optional parts listed for the SMP kit, have survived to the Model King (and now Round2) Imperial? Does it still offer both the Rear Deck and Continental Spares?

Great Work. Where did you find that Jeep Trailer?

Project '37 Ford Sedan rat rod!
stavanzer replied to House of 13's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Looking forward to see what you do with this build, Jan. The Revell '37 is a great kit. What have you in mind for an engine? The Flathead Merc in the Monogram '40 Ford Pickup, is a simple, but sharp engine. Better than the engine in the Monogram '36 Ford Coupe, IMHO. -
Looking good, Rob.

Well, from what has been said by Round2, the Toolbox and Jack that have always been in these kits, has survived into this release as well. Plus, there is the little Rupp minibike. I'll be curious to see if the extra fuel tank that went in the bed, from the early Baja versions is in the kit. Round2 also mentions a Flasher, so we may see that and the Roll bar and driving lights. (or not) When this kit finally lands in the US, it is going to be gone over with a fine-tooth comb. I expect there will be some grousing over this detail or that, but on the whole I think it will sell out quick. P.S. Tim, thanks for the Reply. I look forward to your views on this kit.

Tim, will you be doing one of your detailed On-line reviews of this new kit? Your reviews are really the best out there, with lots of history and great photos.

It would be really informative to see the LRW parts trees laid out next the these. A Side by Side comparison might be a real education it what might be possible in the future. Seeing how the trees were laid out in the last issue of one of the 4x4's could help too.

Yes! I am certainly in for these. I had a 1972 D250 3/4 Ton Camper Special. Longbed, no trim. All I need are the big 8 lug wheels, and those huge domed hubcaps, and I'm golden.

Wow! This is Waayy Out-of-the-Box building. And it works beautifully. The Wheels are a good choice.

I loved those books. I'd forgotten about the Chevy. "Sic 'em, Fido"

Great Tip on the Chain. I need to get some.

https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/instruction_sheetsh/instruction_sheets/revell-2/revell-mr-sandman-w/ I think this kit would be a good fit for Atlantis, if they have the tooling. Hard Plastic tires on the wheels, and the truck tires are not vinyl. Not sure what they are but maybe they can be fudged? This the only 1/25 Scale Buggy kit and while very simple, it looks great. Has not been on the shelves for over 30 years.

Complete bonuses in kits

I wish the tooling for THAT trailer would re-appear! Man, would that be great. -
Yep, Goose, that is the kit I am talking about. Include the stock parts from the regular kit, and it is a real 2'n'1.
