  1. All the wheels in the newest Gas-Man 49 Ford.
  2. Joe, you are correct. What I call "Cotton Candy" websites. Pretty Pictures, but no real substance. Like Oakland, there is no "There, There"
  3. Homerun there, Scott! Two Thumbs up!
  4. Great Co Snobra. I like the paint. What colour is it?
  5. Went to order some stuff, from B.N.L. Resins. Too Late. Website still up, but capped with a notice telling us that if your parts have not shipped, you will be getting a refund. Was BNL a victim of the Chico/Paradise Fires?
  6. Vince, nothing says that you can't put your recent kit purchase in the car, and turn right around and go back through the line with another kit & Coupon. I usually pick a different cashier, but I don't think it is really a problem for HL. I've done it many times.
  7. To add to this, here are the directions for the '69 and '71 Grand Prix kits. Looks to be a great deal of carryover between the two. https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/mpc-instructions/automotive-cars--pi/pontiac/1961-1970/mpc-1969-grand-prix/?view=roll#8 https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/mpc-instructions/automotive-cars--pi/pontiac/1971-1980/mpc-1971-pontiac-gr/?view=roll#3 Not sure when the Superfly conversion was made. I'd really like to see what it left of the toolin' on this kit. Looks like there could be a great deal of interesting stuff still there. Note also, that the Deep Set Wheels that I mentioned having chrome issues, are stock Pontiac rims. I did not know that. The big Chrome Side Exhausts have always been part of the kit. It would be great to have the Luggage, Luggage Rack, and Ski Accessories back as well. If anybody has any good photos of the contents and directions for the Superfly Kit, it would be great to see some. There are some pics here, but I can't get them to embed. https://www.lofty.com/products/complete-unbuilt-mpc-the-grand-superfly-1-25-scale-model-kit-0401-1-cxq9m Note that it looks like nothing remains from the Other kits, as far as extra parts go. Even the prominent 'fender humps' from the 1970 kit are missing. Those humps must have been a 1970 only piece.
  8. Those Deep wheels on the Sweathogs kit, are always badly chromed in the kits I have seen in person. Sometimes over half the wheel is bare plastic. MPC's Quality Control back then was very spotty. Nonetheless, I'd be overjoyed to have this kit return, in ANY form.
  9. Great! All I have is the One Spare, then.
  10. I got my decals Friday. They look great! I plan on using the 65 Lincoln Roof Rack on my '34 Ford entry. Seems small, but it was the easier to find, than the rack in '75 MPC Corvette kit. A question. I've read that 2 spare tires are required, but many of the Gerard Brown photo's show only one tire (usually on the roof rack) of the 1930-1940 vehicles. Not sure where I'm gonna find room on the 34 Coupe for a second spare, LOL. I'm hunting a pair of Small K&N style filters for the twin carbs on the flathead Ford motor. I think Scenes Unlimited is going to get my Tire/Wheel Business. I am excited about this build. I'll be glad when the holidays are over, and I can get some bench time.
  11. I agree with the others, the colour choice is great! I've not seen the awful Monogram Michelin TRX tires ever looks so good. Great Build over all.
  12. Beautimus! What an Oddmachine Scroll down to the bottom of this page. It is there in real life. http://the.shadock.free.fr/Surviving_Sonderfahrzeuge.pdf
  13. The Vega is a complete loser to me. The Other Two? Were do I sign up? I'll take a case of Power Wagons.
  14. The wheels set everything off perfectly. The colours work well to. Nice Clean Build.
  15. Beauty, Snake. I only hope that my AMT Monza turns out half as good as yours.
  16. What Kit is that? Great Build!
  17. I have this kit. I need to build it. It was a real risk RevG took to even tool this up. I hope sales of it have paid off.
  18. And a List of the Lindberg Pirate Ships, and their Real Names. Lindberg Marketing Real Ship Sir Harry Morgan Pirate Ship Le Saint Louis Captain Kidd Pirate Galleon Wappen von Hamburg Jolly Roger Pirate Ship La Flore Blackbeard Pirate Ship Royal Sovereign Again, you get what you pay for. La Flore and Wappen von Hamburg have vacuformed sails; the others have solid plastic sails molded to the yards. They have fair detail and are nicely shaped. All have open gunports, but the method of molding the guns varies from full carriages and cannons to a row of dummy barrels molded onto a strip that is cemented to the interior. Anyway, I believe them to be adequate for the price and they do build into reasonable ship models with effort. You should check them out. Some of these are old Pyro/Lifelike tools.
  19. Somebody else's Build Log. https://www.shipsofscale.com/WVH/WVH01.html And here is the real ship. Wappen Von Hamburg. https://www.modelships.de/Wappen_von_Hamburg_I_1/Wappen_von_Hamburg_I_1eng.htm Hope this helps.
  20. I agree with you, Snake. The decals do nothing for me, either. But a fresh new Switchers kit for $20.00? That appeals to me.
  21. This is Number 4. Lukas V. 7lbs, 15 oz. Mother and baby doing well. Score Board 1 Grand Daughter, Three Grand sons. I'm stoked.
  22. One Star Trek Runabout, One Each of the Van, Deuce, and Pick up kits. Going to be a great New Year.
