Nice to see the decal sheet. Gives a hint of what MIGHT be on the "Newly Expanded Decal Sheet" that Ronud2 Re-issues are famous for. I could see my self building at least two of these kits, just to try out the huge variety of custom parts.

The Cannonball Run - HIGWAY PATROL "Car 42" - 1979-81 Firebird

Looks Like, I need this kit as the base for this build. -
Elvin, if Lee R. does not get you '63 Impala, I'll trade you for it. Other than the horrible, misshapen, lump of an engine it looks just fine to me.

Toyota Hilux Camper
stavanzer replied to Reuhkapelti2's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Most of the siding material on modern campers and trailers is white to start with. Usually they are just spruced up with various designs or stripes. I'd finish the sundry fittings, hinges, edge pieces and window portholes in silver (bare aluminium) and put some graphics or stripes to break up the bare whiteness. Here is great website for Ideas. I've toured this factory and watched these being built. https://www.lancecamper.com/ -
That is a genuine 1927 Eysoar 33 Cwt, "Barrel Back Bus". A very Rare Machine. Built in Canada, from a combination of NOS Mack Truck & leftover WW1 Tractor Parts (thus the Fordson Radiator), Eysoars are seldom seen today. They were very expensive at the time as each Bus was handcrafted using whatever parts had been hauled in that week. This is only the third Eysoar I've seen, and never in the original Bus Form. The other two Eysoars I've seen had been cut down into trucks.

Yeah, it seems only AMT, MPC and Revell/Monogram kits, can be influenced. I'm on the hunt for a Minty XR-6/Model T kit. That should get something happening, but only AFTER I make the purchase.

I just spent big bucks to get a '66 from the 'Bay about 2 months ago. Now this.......... Frustrating. Of Course I'll be having the new one too. Fresh Decals, Fresh Tires and Fresh Plastic. Perfection. Anything else you guys want me or Snake to Over-Pay for, so that Round2 will put it back in Production? LOL.

That looks SO 1970's. You did a great job. Disco Lives!

At least you got one out of Six. Good On, Ya, Mate!

1/25 AMT 1977 Ford Delivery Van w/Coke Machine
stavanzer replied to Casey's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
It looks like the Type 6 is what Round2 tooled up for the Cruisin' Van, and are including in the kit. Before that the kit had what look like the Type 9 wheelcovers in it. If you wanted that style, but the Phantom Van that Round2 had out in 2012. https://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/kits/amt/pages/amt_0767_parts5.shtml -
Good for you. I bought a 4 Bedroom house, foolishly thinking that I would get a hobby room, when the only child moved out. Nine years later he is still there. My wife claimed one room as her sewing room/guest bedroom, and the third is an office/computer room. My stuff is still packed in the garage. Sigh..........

79 Jeep CJ7 floor
stavanzer replied to Andrew D the Jolly Roger's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
My '79 CJ-5 had Tan coloured Seats, both front and back. The floor was all body colour. (White for my Jeep) Mats in the front were factory, black rubber. The mats were badly worn and quickly replaced with new ones from Pep Boys. Hope this helps. Alan -
Ah, I did not know that. Thanks.

Snake, I have a partial, yellowed set of decals for the Monogram '55. Yours if you want them. Just PM me and address and I'll drop them in the mail to you. Regards, Alan Alexis

1/25 MPC '33 Willys Panel Van - Paddy Wagon
stavanzer replied to Casey's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
I need one, just for the rims. (Well two actually. I need 2 sets of the front rims for a project) -
Wow! First, Revell and now Round2. Years of drought for Auto Trailers and now both at once. What great news!

I hope not. That is truly awful artwork. To catch the eye of todays buyer, they'll need something that reaches out and grabs the eye. However, Round2 is excellent at choosing that kind of boxart, so I have no fears in that area at all.
-
Well, those Honeycomb Rims and that rather dated hood scoop are in the kit right now, so I'd say that is a safe bet for the box art.
-
Well, Model On. That idea sounds great! I look forward to seeing it oneday.

Nice Brush Truck!

What a cozy little house! The shop looks bigger than the house. Sounds like a great place to have and a Killer Project. Now, go rent a copy of the "Money Pit" with Tom Hanks, and watch it once. Then have fun with the rehab.

I have the Desert Version in my stash. Nice Kit.
