  1. This is amazing. Incredibly envious of your skills!
  2. I hate nitpicking movies like this, but to the best of anyone's knowledge, that particular event did not take place in Hill Valley. So if Marty wanted to witness the birth, he'd not only have to travel back in time, he'd have to then get to the other side of the world. Ugh. I absolutely love everything about this movie, but it's so easy to pick apart the gaping plot holes and inconsistencies. lolz. Well technically...there is a carpenter there. Although His skills are maybe not quite developed yet. I lie the diorama though. Ties in with my sense of humour very well.
  3. I love these Utes. But I think in North America, the market would be a lot smaller than you think. Towing capacity and payload aren't as high as say, a Tacoma or a Colorado. These don't come with four wheel drive, which will eliminate a huge portion of the potential marketplace. Then look at the sales of normal regular cab pickups. It is pretty small. So although there would 100% for sure be a niche market for these here, I don't think it would make a lot of business sense. Remember, before Pontiac was killed off, GM had briefly considered bringing the Holden Monaro Ute over here and badging it as a Pontiac, but then they squashed those plans.
  4. I think they're just known as Radiator Hose Removal Tool. I've also heard them called a Radiator Hose Pick. There are a few different styles, depending on what shape you want the end.
  5. I'd just like to say that you guys did some awesome work. Some of the detailing you've added to your builds is fantastic. The tool kit in the trunk of the Ferrari, Billy Madison's missing stereo and loose wires, the glossy wood steering wheel on the Cobra. The SHIELD Peterbilt. Great job guys!
  6. Interesting. Will have to check and see if our local Walmarts will carry them. I've only seen kits at Walmart once. Probably 10 years ago, they had some of the Polar Lights NASCAR kits. I think they were $10 CDN each. So I grabbed a bunch of them. Never saw kits there again.
  7. I was briefly a subscriber to SA a few years ago. Up until last month, had almost never received an email from either SA or Finescale. Now I'm getting them almost daily.
  8. Wow, so there's a market for the Palmer boxes? There were a couple of kits for $10 at a local antiques market a couple of years ago. Thought about grabbing them, but heard so much about the poor quality, I passed on them. The box art was pretty cool. One was the Cougar XR7, can't remember what the other was.
  9. I built the wagon and the sedan years ago. Like all of my old kits, they ended up being damaged and eventually tossed. I keep hunting for reasonably priced versions, but I think my only hope is a reissue!
  10. I'll be snagging one of these for sure! Awesome.
  11. Some cool stuff in this thread. I've got to add these. I would re-buy these in a second!
  12. Yup, go to music stores and try stuff out. For the most part, try not to be a brand snob, and just find something that you think feels the best, and sounds the best. All of us pseudo-experts may have our opinions, but ultimately, your opinion is the one that matters.
  13. Looks like it would fall over if you turned the steering wheel. Controversial comment alert: This is just as goofy as current "stanced" cars and donks. ?
  14. Does the Kindig Designs Mercedes count?
  15. As I type this, there are four seperate EBay threads on page 1 of the General Talk section. There's no need to generate a new thread for every interesting thing we find over there. So post all of your EBay stuff here. Going forward, we'll be merging all other Ebay threads into this one, so your continuity might be a little skewed. Ahh well.
  16. Oh look, more random pics found on google.
  17. For bass amp, try the Ampeg mini-stack. It has a cabinet with two 10" speakers, plus a 100 watt head. I found a slightly used one on Kijiji last summer for my son. It is pretty good. Nice tight sound, but can thump, and has the power to keep up to my Peavey 5150 guitar amp. https://ampeg.com/products/classic/microcl/
  18. For just a solid, all around great instrument that will not cost you ton of bucks, you cannot go wrong with the Made in Mexico Fenders. https://shop.fender.com/en/intl/electric-basses/precision-bass/player-precision-bass-left-handed/0149823500.html Although the components used maybe aren't quite as good as their US built counterparts, they are solid. I've had a MIM Telecaster sincer 1996, and it is fantastic. And when I bought it, half the price of the American one. They play just as well as the US ones, the finish quality is just as good as the US ones, the tone and sound is 4/5 the US one. Not enough to justify the cost of the US. Not in my mind anyway.
  19. I'm building this one right now, so did some internet research. One of two built. Olds built one as a concept, then an owner with connections asked Olds to build him one. SO they did! https://theautopologist.com/2018/12/08/power-of-the-dark-side-angelo-valentis-1985-oldsmobile-fe3-x/
  20. Exactly. Get rid of the drama and over the top characters, and most would tune right out.
  21. Ugh, if there's one show I cannot stand, it's Street Outlaws. The characters are too loudmouth for my tastes. And everything turns into an argument or a fight. It's worse than Pinks. Too much drama for me.
  22. Excellent work! Your paint is fantastic, and the wood bed looks great.
  23. What's funny is that everything thinks it's this happy pop song, but when you listen to the lyrics, it's pretty dark.
  24. A lot of people know the original... I much prefer the cover by 3Teeth.
