  1. Yes those are the two. They both come in different colors and markings.
  2. Does anyone have any experience with the Mondo Motors Lamborghini P400 or the Maserati MC12 in 1/24 scale?
  3. This looks super great. All the mods you did really paid off.
  4. If I compare the tires in the race photos above the tires extend above the fender lip as do the HRM tires. Now having said that I realize the race photos were taken at speed so the body would be lower due to aero downforce. I also agree with Helmut on the Academy wheels and tires. rear 28mm, fronts 26mm.
  5. Neat finds. I have a silver Montecarlo but the Beta Coupe is a new one on me. Thanks for sharing.
  6. Lemansdecals has a large selection both on eBay and directly to lemansdecals.com. And then there is always Pattosplace.com.
  7. Since Cappa alerted me to Mondo Motors diecast I searched eBay and found this on offer for only $4. Mondo Motors 1/24 Alfa Sports Wagon 159 Carabinieri Now that was too good to pass up and I ordered it. It arrived today. Umm the Post Office must have run it through an X Ray machine or something that reduced its size. Now I know not to trust vendors who sell mostly jewelry and don't understand scales. ?
  8. Really a great collection of Royales. I had the good fortune to see the Weinberger Royale at the Ford Museum in the 1960s. Just to do a walk around of it left a big impression.
  9. Check out the roll bar. It would be an interesting touch on a model if you do 0820.
  10. You are not alone Pete and Tim in your assessment of the Jack Modeling wheels. I have a set in front of me and am disappointed in the flatness too. Having owned an Austin Healey 100-6 and a MGB they were not flat either but certainly not as cone shaped as the XKEs.
  11. Looking real good. Please keep us posed.
  12. As others have noted your attention to research and detail is outstanding. I appreciate your sharing this with us.
  13. Really good looking D Jag. The Cunningham version is a great idea.
  14. Super builds on the 49s. To have seen them race at the Glen makes them extra special.
  15. Well done indeed. Congratulations on bring this one to completion.
  16. Finally, a paint job I can live with. I was very close to mailing the body to Montreal. ?
  17. I didn't know what to call them but "nail art sets" gives a whopping response on Amazon. Thanks for sharing Les.
  18. In olden times I would carve wooden forms or make them from Bondo for windshields or tops. Of course that doesn't solve the replication of existing parts. It's past my knap time.
  19. Thanks for the photos Tim. I got a set of 16" but have not decided where to use them yet.
  20. Looking real good Tim.
  21. I had not seen one of these before so thanks for sharing. The blacked-out windows are understandable for low volume production but are disappointing to me. I did check on eBay for Mondo Motors and they have some interesting diecasts, especially Lambos and modern Maseratis.
  22. Well done! I like your leather look.
