Up to a point. I believe there’s a modern Chevy Silverado or Ford F-150 kit is coming out in Q4. Not sure what kit company though. It would be nice to see other classic cars come out in a kit.... 60s automobiles such as Dodge Dart - both in wagon and sedans, Plymouth Demon, Valiants, Chryslers, 70s, 80s & 90s auto kits such as Ford Thunderbirds, Ford Granada, Chevy Lumina, Monte Carlo SS, Malibu, etc...

You’ve been gone too long.... LOL!

Unusual Woody!

Looks like something Chevy Chase would use in a new National Lampoon Camping Vacation movie. LOLOL! -
NBA HOF Legend and Star Trek icon has passed away
BlackSheep214 replied to BlackSheep214's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
I believe only two of the original Star Trek series are still with us - Shatner and Takei -
I stand corrected. He died. Daily Mail is a tabloid rag.

He did in fact passed away. It is reported today. The Daily Mail is a U.K. tabloid newspaper. https://www.msn.com/en-us/entertainment/entertainment-celebrity/leave-it-to-beaver-actor-tony-dow-dies-at-77-after-cancer-battle-a-beautiful-soul/ar-AAZZJgc?li=BBnb7Kz

Zayre’s... now I remember that store. LOL!

Back in the 70s, be it Kmart or Stars (later Tars after a fire at the store and the letter “S” crashed and burned off the front facade) remember kits were $5 - $7 depending on what it is, little square Testors paint bottles were less than $1, tube glue were $.99, spray cans were less than $2. I didn’t get Model Master paints until around ‘79 or ‘80s and they ran around $1.25.

Heh... I did that truck model kit as a kid. -
Candy Brandywine...

Oh God... I hate those Battleship Grey colors on cars. At least do a nice two-tone metallic grey like they did on the 1960s Chevy Impalas. Or even a Black and Grey scheme. -
Candy Brandywine...

In all honesty, I think they're on overkill. It's great on certain makes and models. But when other Automakers jump on the bandwagon, it gets nauseating. I'd love to see someone do one in Candy Blue of sorts and make it exclusive to that automaker and model. -
Man.... I love seeing vintage motorcycles- especially vintage Harley Davidsons. So much history and styles through the years. My condolences to your friend’s passing. A great honor naming her Dirty Girl. I like it.

A majority of the time you will get a recall notification in the mail. I got one not too long ago on my 2013 Ford Escape; which I no longer own. So in the garbage it went. Not my problem anymore. LOL!

Ha! Probably waaaay before my time in building model kits. LOL! You win! A cool kit though.

Candy Brandywine...

Let’s not forget the Brandywine Orange color on today’s modern cars and truck. When we were in the market for a Subaru Crosstek, I wanted the cool Brandywine Yellow they had. Told the missus, I’d call it the Vomit Comet. LOL! They didn’t want to come down on the prices, so we ended up with a 2021 Honda CR-V. She didn’t like the color on the Crosstek anyway..... -
I’ve done quite a number of ship model kits through my youth/teen years as well as a couple in the last year (USS Missouri and IJN Mogami - WW2 Japanese Aircraft Carrying Cruiser... a fun build BTW). I do enjoy the challenge in building them and have a few on my wish list; one currently in my stash being a long term project in building a Fletcher class destroyer to USS Wadleigh - a destroyer my dad served on when he was in the Navy in the mid to late 50s. Submarines are easy to build too. Been wanting to do the USS Nautilus for a long, long time since my youth years.

Wow.... talk about calling the kettle black when it comes to insulting these good folks on these forums. Since you are a administrator/moderator, this doesn’t give you the right to call us twits. Shame on you for insulting us members. Maybe you need to go on a 30 day moderations of YOUR posts. Hey... what’s good for the goose is good for the gander.

Oh my... I’ve never heard of a dealership not having a courtesy service. I’d still file a consumer complaint against that dealership to Ford Corporate Office ASAP. Sounds like their management & staff have zero respect to their customers. File the complaint and do let us know what their response / plan of action is against that dealership.

The original flying car kit is the famous Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car model kit. That’s the holy grail as others want in their stash. Heck, I used to have the Corgi diecast one as as kid. Wished I held on to it. I know there was a thread on it somewhere. Back to the Future DeLorean is still around though.

Howthehell do you get inside that Slammed VW Bug?!?! ROFL!!! -
This.... ^^^^ I’d call the main Ford Customer Service number. Corporate will get on the horn and contact your selling dealership and demand they do you right.

My son has those yellow light bars on his car. Reason being they turn them on is when they’re in park. He’s currently doing internship with the NYDOT. So it is a safety thing. Driving around with it, it depends on the situation. Some use it as lead or follow vehicles between trucks carrying a wide load. To answer your question of right of way... no, you do not yield right of way to them - even if they’re behind you. It’s mainly a Caution thing.

Celebrity? Pffffttt... please. Just because she was married to the Orange clown, no she isn’t. Iconic? Far from it.
