  1. A Japanese company named Edai Grip. They've done other kits in a variety of scales. I even found a 1/8 scale Porsche set up for radio control. Not sure the history of the company or if they still exist. My guess is they don't, that's why the kit ended up done by Union.
  2. Oh man, I just found out the kit's been cancelled. Reason - Mike ordered decals before the kit made it to the stores. Quick, somebody buy an original from Ebay before it's too late! ?
  3. A Belchfire 8, be still my heart! Ive been wondering when one of those was going to come out. I'd say I'm stirring to have one, but my experience is that they tend to leave a bad taste in the mouth. Moving right along...
  4. Steve, will the kit include all the same optional customizing and racing parts that the original annual had - for a true nostalgic build experience?
  5. 1200 dollars heh? That's about a dollar a part. I could afford one if he had a payment installment plan. One dollar per part, until I've collected them all! Heck, I might even be able to do TWO dollars at a time!✌?
  6. Very nice work you're doing so far. I like the amount of thought and planning you're putting into it. Kinda reminds me of a streamlined Studebaker Starliner coupe.
  7. Revell did a 34 that was spot on. Looked correct, but it was 1/16 scale and was not anywhere near stock. I've heard that they have since lost the wooden master that that pantographed it from. To top it off, they've never reissued it either. Probably because it's forever stuck in the 80s with billet parts and pastel graphics. The original Monogram had a very nice stock version in 3 window and roadster. Both of those have since been chopped, so stock bodies are no longer available. Plus the scale is 1/24. Ace is right, there are no good 33-34 Fords in 1/25 scale and that's a shame, as it's one of Fords most iconic designs ever!
  8. I've got some ideas for it! Seems like it was a common idea for a cab-forward concept.
  9. I knew he was a big car guy. I remember him in Hot Rod Magazine. IIRC he was also a model car builder. He went out doing what he loved. My condolences to his family.
  10. I alway thought this and the Daytona Transport were the same truck, just without the clear bed cover. Does this one pivot?
  11. Those seats look geat, if a little uncomfortable. Go Man-go sounds like an interesting color, maybe a metallic orange or Calypso Coral? Like where it's going so far.
  12. How does it compare to Stroker Ace?
  13. I know their 5 window kit was reissued about 20 years ago, but I haven't heard or seen anything about the sedan and street rod since 1988. Nice kits, even if the shape of the roof looks a little wonky. Anybody else interested in a reissue?
  14. Is it this one? Pretty sure it came from this.
  15. Great drawings, you've got talent!
  16. Chuck, something happened to the pictures. They are not showing on this end.
  17. What a great idea. Using a Cobra with convertible GT parts to build a GT coupe. I've got a few of both and should try this conversion. Watching.
  18. Looks like it may have been a custom job. Notice how it's fogged over the wheelwells too.
  19. I just noticed, pump says "unleaded premium" but it's only 87 octane. Someone's getting taken! ?
  20. Looks good. I'd be up for one. Wonder why they included engine detail, but molded the hood shut? That's also a nice grille!
  21. Detail on it looks excellent. I could see resin copies made and used in other 80s cars!
  22. And with the price of fuel, expect the cost of shipping to rise along with everything else.
  23. I've got a bunch of unique parts to this kit. Including the different body, high top roof, the interior panels and the wheel chair. I'm trying to acquire many of the other parts or a stock junker so I can replicate it - it's just so cool! By the way. This van was also built by the notorious George Barris. Yes, that Barris!
