  1. You could also cut a disc from cardboard about the size of your rings. Glue a long piece of sprue (or any round rod) to the center with CA, and then use double face tape or a tape loop to attach the rings. Then you can spin it as you spray. A bottle cap might work instead of the cardboard disc?
  2. Beautiful looking rig! Super clean build, and I love that colour on it.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž
  3. Nicely done!๐Ÿ‘ Just the right amount of chop.
  4. Very nice!๐Ÿ‘ Lotsa eye candy there.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  5. Itโ€™s likely gonna get worse. Artificial Intelligence can probably run a better scam than Actual Ignorance. I automatically delete any e-mails or texts that I donโ€™t recognize the sender. Likewise, I donโ€™t answer phone calls if I donโ€™t recognize the number. If itโ€™s legit they can leave a message, but they never do.
  6. Point me in the right direction because I have no idea where I am going.
  7. Nice score! Things do not go on sale like that here in Canada.๐Ÿ˜•
  8. I put a slightly shortened toilet paper tube over the bottle so the mixer doesnโ€™t spray paint everywhere when I pull it out.
  9. I am no paint expert, but I prefer lacquers. They dry quick and can be re-coated pretty much anytime. My advice for a newbie would be to stick to paints and primers made for hobbyists. You didnโ€™t say where you paint, apartment, house, garage? If you have a space where you could use an airbrush, it opens up a whole lot of paint options that arenโ€™t available in rattle cans. That saidโ€ฆyes you can get excellent results from rattle cans.
  10. Here is a link to a tool I made for scribing trim. https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/140583-trim-scriber/
  11. That might be too much? Iโ€™d just put one or two lavender pleats in two or three places. Just enough to break up the expanse of white? JMO.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  12. Scott, that engine looks fabulous!๐Ÿ‘
  13. I thin this with lacquer thinner and keep it ready to go in one of my Paasche H jars. I use my battery powered mixer to stir it before use. If it has thickened up from sitting awhile, I just add a bit more LT.
  14. Windows wonโ€™t need replacing anymore if you answer the door in the buff.
  15. How about the styrene tuck-n-roll with some sort of purple accents?
  16. You could fit some massive speakers in that package shelf ๐Ÿ˜ˆ (see how Iโ€™m sticking with your purple theme).
  17. Building models is not as much of a priority when the summer weather beckons you to head outdoors.
  18. โ€œItโ€ is a novel by Steven King about a demonic Clown named Pennywise.

That is the reason that I moved the fenderwells from the chassis to the body. I should have mentioned it sooner.
  20. Shirt and shoes required if you want to get served in this establishment.
  21. The primer does not โ€œsoak inโ€ to the plastic. In my understanding, the dyes can leach out and tint the primer, and it can leach out further to tint the paint if a sealer of some sort is not used as a barrier.
  22. It looks great! I did my โ€˜41 Chevy pickup in Premier Colonial Red and it goes down nice. I got a little bit of crazing from the Testors gloss that I used over it.

I think your upholsterer did a fine job!๐Ÿ˜Ž A little late to mention now, but I cut those inner fender wells off the chassis and added them to the body.
  24. Beautiful clean build Chuck. Itโ€™s got attitude and the muscle to back it up!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž
  25. Wow, that is one beautiful looking Bronco! I would be proud to drive that around.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž
