  1. I like the stance. That’s the best looking car that AMC came out with in my opinion.😎
  2. Dates come from palm trees and have been cultivated for at least four thousand years apparently.
  3. I’m pretty sure there is no rear drivetrain either? It’s likely pulling from the front diff only.😳
  4. I got nothing clever yet.πŸ€” Edit: STV BLT, GMC SIX, FISHER, BIG SIX, 302 SIX, INJTD6, I like 12PORTπŸ™‚?? Not bad.😳
  5. That color looks terrific on it. Love the background diorama too!πŸ‘πŸ˜Ž
  6. Great looking pair of Hornets!πŸ‘
  7. I got the steering gear connected and a side mirror installed, so this one is pretty much done. I just need to install the door handles, a license plate and a couple of paint touch ups.
  8. Days are now getting longer and the nights are getting shorter.
  9. MicroMark has one that I think is similar to mine on the left. The spring broke on it so I bought the cheap one on the right from Amazon. I didn’t like the chuck on it so I wound up swapping the spring over to my old one.
  10. Nice! Glad to see you back on it.πŸ‘
  11. Nice! Love that color on it.😎
  12. Really nice clean looking build!πŸ‘
  13. Wow, sure don’t have to worry about losing that one in the parking lot.😎 Nice work! πŸ‘
  14. Nice flock Ludwig!😎
  15. Did your wife make up that plate for you Jim?🀣🀣
  16. Well done Len! Routing the trim up and around the pipes makes it look like they belong there.πŸ‘πŸ˜Ž
  17. Here’s a quick and dirty scratch build using some .080” half round and some .030” strip. Might be good enough for a street rod? Flattening the topside could be an improvement.
  18. I’ve had a hard time getting my micro drill to grip a #80 drill bit, and I’ve had to use a pair of pliers to loosen the collet at times. So I gave it a good cleaning by dipping it in lacquer thinner. I was amazed how much black junk came off. I used some sandpaper to clean and de-burr the slots. After another dip in thinner, I very lightly oiled the threads with some clipper oil. I put a bit of oil on the outside of the jaws too where the outer collet? contacts them. Use a very small amount of oil, as you don’t want it creeping to the inner drill bit gripping area. It operates a lot smoother now.πŸ™‚
  19. It looks nice…I’d be happy with it.πŸ‘πŸ˜Ž
  20. From the knowledge that I’ve gleaned from this site I know that butt joints are far sturdier if they are pinned.
  21. Nice work so far James!πŸ‘ I do like the looks of that body and the wheels are fabulous!😎
  22. Beautiful! Makes me want to crack open another kit!πŸ₯΄
  23. If 1/25 is close enough, Revell’s β€˜32 Ford 5 Window Coupe 2’n1 kit is a nice easy build with a lot of options. The Revell β€˜49 Merc is also nice and practically falls together.
