  1. Hi Ron. Lots to work with here, lines and proportions look good. I will keep an eye on this project, I've always had a soft spot for these Novas.
  2. Last test fit before paint and interior details
  3. Great design and execution, very future forward design but the classic lines are still there and the color adds sophistication. This would make a great prototype for a max effort 1 :1 ISCA Radical Custom contender
  4. I was asked to post some additional photos.
  5. Starting the assembly process
  6. Great job on this model Stephen, a very clean well built replica!
  7. Thank you Tim, it is nice to be able to start assembling the parts and see something resembling a completed model starting to emerge. However it is I that should be thanking you for the insights and tips that you have been sharing during your fantastic project.
  8. Thank you Jason, glad you like it. It's nice that the parts are now starting to go together and that I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
  9. Sorry Lee in this case the butterflies don't move, this wasn't designed to move either but it just turned out that way. I'm too far along on this project to incorporate moving butterflies this time, but the way this hat was assembled it may possibly to allow that with some minor clearance changes. Perhaps on the next one.
  10. I'm glad you like it, It still won't come up when I try to view it but I've seen it LOL Thanks for letting me know!
  11. Great post Mike! Definitely going to try this method, I've been using A/M wheels on my last couple of models but this looks as good or better (especially with being able to vary the spoke count) and the cost appeals to my Scottish heritage. Good to see you posting again.
  12. The seat is in and the parts that wrap around the upper rail have been added and the pattern carved in and painted to match. Not this shiny in person but it's either too bright with the flash of just a black hole.
  13. You just continue to amaze and raise the bar my friend. No words do justice.
  14. The above post won't show the video or let itself be deleted
  15. Throttle linkage MVI_6561.MOV
  16. Welcome back to the hobby, this model looks like a great return.
  17. Beautiful model, wel Done
  18. Older build the color is Butternut Yellow custom mixed from the factory formula and looks correct in person and matches the Exalta color chip but shows much too yellow in photos.
  19. Yes. All of the above at times, but mostly small pieces of wet sponge clamped on as a heat sink with small alligator clips it does not take too much of a temperature drop to solve the issue.
  20. Great start on this one.
  21. I love this one, such a complete model with every part so well done and cohesive to the theme. You are the man.
  22. Very nice job on this one!Excellent work
  23. Nice job on this one, the Vega Panel body does present some unique challenges. Well done!
  24. Great job on this one!
