  1. My entry in this years BRBO is a Ford Race Car Hauler. It is something I have really wanted to do for a long time. I have leftover cab parts from my two Freightliner COEs. I will repurpose them into a sleeper for this build. I have an unbuilt Coke truck that I have been robbing parts from. It will provide the frame rails and other parts needed to extend the wheelbase. Time to stop dreaming about it and get to it.
  2. Count me in. I am doing the Ford LN 8000 with an extended frame and adding a sleeper.
  3. I had my car at a all Pontiac show years ago. Someone brought a metallic brandywine '66 2+2 I thought it was gorgeous!
  4. The trailer is definitely making it to my stash.
  5. The last bike is quite impressive. What scale is it?
  6. Following. I built a modified lowboy in 2019. I decked the rear section and extended the front.
  7. I want/need to finish my 4 ongoing Mustangs. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/155547-stalled-1967-mustang-gt-coming-back-in-the-queue/ http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/155548-1967-shelby-gt-350-dark-blue/ http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/156213-1968-shelby-gt-500/ http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/156212-1969-boss-429/ Then move onto a Ford LN 8000 Race Car Hauler with a sleeper. I do want to build a black extended flatbed semi trailer for my black and gold Freightliner I finished this year. I have so many cool kits but not enough time.
  8. A 2 door sedan delivery. Converting it to 4 door wagon will take some kit bashing.
  9. I stand corrected. Thank you Sir!
  10. Awesome collection of AFX builds. Thanks for sharing.
  11. Beautiful Challenger. FYI the antenna is supposed to be on the front fender.
  12. That looks great! Too bad about the hood. I put a resin Cowl Induction hood on mine. It fit reasonably well.
  13. Nice job on all. I like the green ElCo the best.
  14. Nice collection. Great job.
  15. Hard to expound on what others have already expressed. Excellent imagination and execution. Well done.
  16. I have a Hobby Lobby in my town of Salem and a local hobby store probably within a 5 miles of it. I hit them at least every other week. For awhile, price hindered my purchases. Now that I finally have disposable income, if I like the subject, I buy it. When I frequented the Portland area, I swung by Tammie's Hobbies every chance I got. Fortunately, I am at the point where I have 95% of the subjects I want to build. The remaining 5% are original issues that are $50 and up. With more kits than time, it is hard to justify it. When I am at HL there usually one other grayhair perusing the kits. When I am at the LHS there are usually 2-3 other customers but they are there for something else. At HL the shelves are usually well stocked, when they have kits on sale, about every other slot is empty. The LHS is well stocked with a good variety. I have learned to overlook the markup because it is still cheaper than adding shipping to any mail order place. Plus I like to support my local community. Where I am, kits are obviously selling.

As one who used this kit in my own diorama, I say nice work!
  18. Good to see it. Keep on modeling.
  19. Nice job on all of your builds. This one is my fav.
  20. I am a die hard Muscle car fan but the tall 27T is my favorite. Well done on all.
  21. I just looked at all the versions of 57 Vette kits. Not quite the same.

    My 2020

Mmm, Mmm, Mmm, A lot of mighty tasty builds there. Where did you source the wheels for the Chevelle?
  23. I too know what it is like to have too much work and not enough "life" time. Keep your sanity and fix your life/work balance. Anyone who wants your products will just have to wait.
