Chevrolet Titan barn find

I remember those uniquely panted rims when I was at your house sorting truck parts. I enjoyed the visit. -
I like most all of them. I noticed you have a tires with different tread patterns. Could you share which kits/vendors they were sourced from?

Patrick, It does not appear to be crazing. After I scrubbed the paint job with a toothbrush, it is fairly flat. Not as rough as orange peel which is why I have not dunked it in the purple lake. The biggest issue is that I am sure I thinned the paint too much before spraying. It am hoping for some confidence in knowing that clear will take care of it before I put all the effort into detailing the body.

I do have a moisture trap and NOTHING shows up in it. I most always wait until the humidity is below 45% to paint. -
Sam do you monitor humidity when you paint? I have had some experiences with a nice glossy paint job "blushing" flat when drying in high humidity. I hear a number of members mention food dehydrators. My problem is I am simply running out of space for additional hobby equipment. My new mini lathe has maxed me out.

I have been slowly detailing the body. I added some ignition wires to the Boss 429. Trying to keep motivated on this one because it is the only one of 4 Mustangs that the paint job came out satisfactory.

Got the interior done. Have not been motivated to BMF the body. Still need to paint the hood. Put the project on hold again. Got the fire extinguisher for the console from my friend Tim. -
Got the interior completed. Still need to paint the hood. Waiting for dryer weather. It is winter in western Oregon. It might be awhile.
-
Finally got the body clean by alternating between brake fluid and Super Clean. Unfortunately the weather around here is not permitting me to paint it. So in the box it goes until spring.

Very nice details throughout.

I have used food coloring mixed with Future acrylic to tint windows. You will have to get it pretty dark in the cup before applying it. If you do not like the results, it will come right off with household ammonia.

Very impressive effort and execution. Well done!
