  3. That is what I thought. I have used that technique on occasion.
  4. I like the concept of triggering memories of your past by building a vehicle that has a personal connection. Well done.

  18. Good to see you have a vision and are going after it.
  19. Added removable aluminum tube to be held by pin on one end and ladder rung on the other. This will allow tires to be added and removed.
  20. Your weathering techniques are well executed. Very nice job.
  21. I remember a lot of Internationals running around when I was a teenager. I will be happy to spend my money for this new kit.
  22. Your project is awesome! I love that you have created a vision and are working through all the mods to make it happen. For your searchlight, I suggest rummaging through you household recycle bin, The bottom of a soda can can be a parabolic reflector and a vitamin bottle could make the sleeve. Good luck!
  23. Thanks. I plan on putting a rod about 3/8" away to kind of cradle the tires. I am not fond of it being in the hatchway either. In reality there is no reason to have the door opening so high. I had contemplated moving the tire rack in front of the box but the sleeper will actually occupy part of where it would go. (The mock up earlier in the thread shows the cab and sleeper much lower than it will actually be). I also thought of leaving it off altogether but I found a way to use it.
