Beautiful job Bryon. Davey, God rest his soul was my family's all-time favorite Driver. Him, Tim Renolds and Yates were quite a team.
Honestly, after his untimely death, we slowly lost interest in NASCAR. My rant for today??
The repaint without clear.
With Rustoleum Crystal Clear Acrylic Lacquer
Not the greatest picture to show the actual finish, but it did come out very good. A little orange peel in the clear but I'm only gonna do a light rub out with Automotive Polishing compound (very light grit) then polish.
Hopefully some better pictures to follow.
Thanks for the tips. The washer idea to me make the most sense and since older car rotors aren't slotted or drilled anyway, they should look fine. Except for maybe race cars. Now the calipers, have to figure that one out.
Thanks Mike.
I've still got some touch ups to do and some more parts to install but I did manage to get some progress done on this ...
Well it's just so cool, always liked highly detailed model airplane cockpits!!
What is a good source for kind of generic brake rotors with calipers. I did see a while back Replica's in Miniature but since no website and I don't do Facebook how can I see what they have??
Suggestions appreciated.
