I don't see a problem with that. It's a ventilated area, and even if poorly ventilated, the small quantity of volatile material discharged from an airbrush will have plenty of space to dissipate. I think you're good.
If you do A LOT of painting, you may want to open up a moderate hole on opposite sides of the deck skirting to ensure good ventilation.
Yup, this exactly. The multitude of paint types at our disposal can all be used to greet effect. I use them all, selecting for their finish qualities, and for their physical & dynamic qualities when applying, depending on the job at hand.
Looks like a great deal. Tread carefully though. Sellers feedback has red-flags. Lots of negative feedback with common complaints, and suggestions the seller doesn't actually have some of the items being offered. Some of the positive feedback looks very suspicious too, lavished with over-the-top praise.
This one might be too good to be true.
Good looking work truck, Chuck. I dig the weathering, early example though it may be. Very effective. It's a skill I really need to develop, and I admire the work of those who do it well.
Some very interesting renderings. A little bit of craziness and some intriguing ideas. I thought the fastback would look good, but the side profile images did not look right at all. I think there could be hope for a fastback, but the roofline would need some careful consideration.
Very cool tool!
Cool project Greg. For a few years now I've been thinking of getting a couple of these Monogram classics. When I was young, a buddy of mine built a bunch of them, and they always looked great on the shelf. I'm interested to watch your project come together.
