  1. I like that look much better then the street version. Very cool looking with all the salt accumulation. Is it actually the same build?
  2. You sir are correct, thanks for pointing out the correction. OP? No idea what that is an acronym for. Sorry. But thanks for helping me learn the correct year. Thanks for the info lesson guys. I am not much a stickler for that kinda stuff when I build, I just like to build. I appreciate learning though. I should have just looked in my stash, I have a number of those early model T buckets. Thanks man, funny thing about those wheels. I took them off there to make a mold from them, and now I can't find them, doh. Yes I am heading to that show with Sara. She is so excited to be entering some builds. Not sure if I will actually enter any builds or just show them, either way I am taking a ton. I assume you are not going, being it is so far of a drive.
  3. Dig it! Nice work all round.
  4. Dig the engine, didn't expect that to be in there love those cross flow intake setups.
  5. Great stuff, nice pump and plumbing work. Great looking build.
  6. Great save on both cars love those old Caddy's.
  7. Another stunning Vet build, hats off to you on this one too.
  8. Whoa! That turned out amazing. How many coats of clear do you have on there,? Ssuper job on the polishing.

    Revell Audi R8

Beautifully done model. In the right light that could be a stand in for a 1:1, great work.
  10. A couple of real winners right there, very nice work. Dig the wheels.
  11. Outstanding finish and exterior detail work Randy. At first glance I thought it was a real car from the first photo. The panels lines are definitive without being in your face or out of place, really great work.
  12. Fantastic build Mike really well done.
  13. Nicely done! Can't say I have seen many of these over the years.

1/43? Wow, amazing work. That's not 1/43 looks like 1/25 for sure . Great build.
  15. Nice colour. Good work on the trim and scripts, looks good all round.
  16. Nice looking build , good looking engine detailing.

Great looking build. Agreed the lettering does look much better. You are a lucky man to have had your EX-wife do such a respectable job packing your models. How many horror stories have we herd over the years of ex-wives trashing models. Looking forward to seeing more gems you find.
  18. Welcome back and good luck with your return here. Picture upload is now as easy as fb, at least if you have an iPad. I left here for the same reason, picture up load was a real pain having to use a photo hosting site. I find fb is too dynamic and in your face to work in a forum type format.
  19. Couldn't agree more. Plus it's always a nice touch when you can build something out of the main stream offerings.
  20. Absolutly amazing and impressive how some of your guys get so far into correcting these imperfections, very admirable, bravo. Me, I just slap a fancy paint job on them and call them done. You sir, and anyone else who takes the time to research and do all this work are craftsmen and technicians.
  21. Sounds like a dogs breakfast. Good luck with it, looks pretty good so far.
  22. Looks like great livery, I like the colour. I'll follow along on this one.
  23. Good to know. To me they're all little hot rods waiting for our imagination. Thanks for the info.

Thanks Dann, I have to agree. So it looks like about 5-7 coats got me this far, plus a shot coat of the grey. The rough edges will be smoothed over.
  25. Cool mash up. It's always cool to see what can be done with a NASCAR chassi and what ever our imaginations can dream up. Looking forward to the progress on this one.
