  1. This is interesting. Tempting for the different factor. Charlie Larkin
  2. Great builds. Charlie Larkin
  3. What a really cool save and build, Dan. I have a mint, still-in-the-box '66 I plan to build, although as a regular car. Planning on Dubonnet with the matching interior. Curious, what was the other car you got? Charlie Larkin
  4. I like your showroom. Charlie Larkin
  5. Well, what is now yesterday, we had a little filtered sun. So, I took it out, placed it on a base, and on the roof of my car, and grabbed a few photos. It does show nicely in the sun. The base is going to be used for a photo back-drop of some kind. Still figuring out what I want to do and how. Charlie Larkin
  6. There's a '66 I see around here occasionally. I'd suggest starting with Humbrol Cream, followed by a wash mixed from the lightest shade of tan you can find (Radome Tan would be a good choice, Humbrol and Model Master both have it), would get you in the right direction. Charlie Larkin
  7. Gorgeous. Charlie Larkin
  8. I was a little excited, I thought you made it into a 4-door, and an exceptionally nice one, too. This is still a nice build. I did one, too, and have a few more at the ready. I like this kit. Charlie Larkin
  9. Very clean. I like the color. Charlie Larkin
  10. ?? I laughed loud enough to startle Dad while he was upstairs. This kit is kind of cool. I might grab one for something a little different. Charlie Larkin
  11. I know this feeling. Charlie Larkin
  12. Very nice detailing on this. Charlie Larkin
  13. I went straight to the experts. Keep an eye on this thread, more answers may develop. http://www.forwardlook.net/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=75238&posts=2&start=1 Charlie Larkin
  14. This will be an interesting build to watch. Another significant car whose presence in model form is sorely lacking. Charlie Larkin
  15. Those are both very nice. I really like that Chevy. The colors referenced for the interiors...were those used on the woodgrain portions, or in varying places in the interior? Charlie Larkin
  16. I like it. Charlie Larkin
  17. I have a bunch of '63s, and this is helpful. I plan on doing one in Chestnut because I think it's a very pretty color. When I finally get around to building this, photos will be posted. Paul moved? That's why i haven't seen too many models up the last couple of weeks. Florida- most of California's nice weather at much better prices. Charlie Larkin
  18. Very nice work. How do you like working with Fusion? I've considered giving it a try. Charlie Larkin
  19. The creative process that went into this is well worth the price of admission. Based on a three of Paul's kits I have, if you decide to go for this, you will not be disappointed. Someday, I hope to be able to meet the price. Charlie Larkin
  20. This is art. Charlie Larkin
  21. My focus this year, to a point, will be to finish a whole bunch of almost-completes. Nice job on this, Tim, and I really like that color. Charlie Larkin
  22. So that's how you kill a Toyota pickup? Nice work. Charlie Larkin
  23. I had wondered if someone would do this or not. I'm looking forward to your usual high standards of work when done. Charlie Larkin
  24. What an incredibly nice conversion you did on this. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest. Charlie Larkin
  25. What a cool project. I've been poking for an original '61 Starliner, and they're not common, and expensive. The conversion doesn't look all too tough. I might give this a try, as I have a spare '61 and a spare '60. Charlie Larkin
