  1. Went and saw the movie 'Bullitt' at my local theatre yesterday, it is having a 50th anniversary theatrical limited re-release. I've seen the movie at least a dozen times on TV and own a DVD of it, but was fun to see on the big screen. Before the movie, instead of the usual movie trailers, was a Ford promotional video for the new '19 Mustang Bullitt.
  2. It sounds like next year is the last for this particular NNL event, presumably the other NNL events (East, West, etc) around the country will continue.
  3. The tractor is a Hasegawa 1/35th Yanmar. https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10556916
  4. Nice..looking forward to seeing it at the show.
  5. IIRC all the modern issues of the AMT 70 have the stock 5 spoke mags and a rather ugly set of 90s style aftermarket wheels.
  6. Those wheelcovers on the box art remind me of '69-70 Cougar wheelcovers.
  7. Would the hoods also be different for the round vs. stacked headlight fascias?
  8. That one in the photo looks like a 4dr convertible.
  9. 75 B-body was the Coronet. They didn’t switch to the Monaco name until 77.
  10. I've got the police one on pre-order from HLJ, plan to do a stock RR with it, and got the Rally version a while back. I want to do the Rally version as a phantom panel truck version. I've got the later vintage Aoshima 4dr RR, so these will go well with it...
  11. Good to hear the Charger chassis fits so well. I want to kitbash a '71 Charger w/ the Monaco to do a phantom 4dr Charger R/T...I figure why not, since modern Chargers are 4drs.
  12. I think 30-50 years ago before the internet it was a lot easier for celebrities and their lawyers to cover up their bad behavior and crimes..
  13. That's the Range Rover, though...wouldn't mind seeing Italeri reissue their LWB Land Rover 2dr. The Italeri kits are old ESCI tools, I believe?
  14. So many great segments...some of my favorites include Clarkson's tribute to Senna, the Vietnam road trip on scooters, the various car vs train vs motorcycle point-to-point tests across Europe, the Ford GT going across the Mileau viaduct in France.... Perhaps my absolute favorite segment is this Season 13 closer, an ode to the Aston Martin and Clarkson's ruminations on sports cars and driving. The locations, Brian Eno music, cinematography and Clarkson's narration are magnificent. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siZQHDY1-48
  15. I have 2 Mac Book Pro laptops, an iPad and an iPhone. Even still have my old iPod that I use once in a while...definitely a bit of an Apple fan. Even have an Apple decal on my Jeep.. My experience has been their products just work well and don't require a lot of fiddling with..
  16. I loathe Windows, but am stuck using it at work. Made the switch to Apple OSX/MacOS 10 years ago for my personal laptops and haven't looked back. Alas, my sister is always bugging me for Windows tech support for her laptops.
  17. Got my last Modelhaus parts order (some wire wheels, sun visors and radiators), and some 3-D printed '68-69 Plymouth parts from Shapeways.
  18. I got your '68 Plymouth grilles, '69 Satellite grille and '69 Satellite wheels in the mail today from Shapeways. Very nice parts.
  19. I like wagons...thinking I might get an Volvo V90 for my next daily driver in a few years.
  20. Lots of discussion of it and other boat kits, with pics in this thread
  21. Came in the mail today—a few kits from Japan and a couple Round 2 new releases.
  22. Sharp truck...I like the Diamond Black, that's what my GC is. Looks great when clean.
  23. Not on the road but in my driveway--The DoorDash delivery guy tonight was a Millennial hipster w/ a red artisanal beard, driving a black Tesla Model 3. First Model 3 I'd seen in person...he said they told him there had only been about 150 sold so far in NE Ohio...
  24. I like Five Guys. Had one of their bacon cheeseburgers & cajun fries yesterday.
