  1. Nice work on your Impala! I like that color very much. I'll have to hunt some down. I'll keep your info on the body fitment in mind since I am getting close to that stage on my lowrider build. Later-
  2. Very nice! I like the shade of green. I need to get back onto my 61-63 Birds. Later-
  3. So, a bit of slow progress on this one but I'm trying not to get caught up in a lot of bench time since I have quite a few projects on the house going. Trying to be reasonable. Anywho, I got the grill and bumper detailed as well as the taillights. Also started today on the chassis and suspension. Filled and sanded low spots on the frame in prep for paint. Made springs out of wire and lowered the rear suspension. I also started on the lowering of the front suspension. Later-
  4. You are doing some great work on this! I love to see how you have been improving on the details. Nice work! Later-
  5. Thinking about making this one of my next projects to work on. The thing with this is that it was one of my Buddy's projects that he had started years ago. It sat on his bench for several years and every time I went to visit I would beg him to finish it. I always thought that it was such a beautiful paintjob. Unfortunately, he never finished it before he passed away last year. It has suffered a bit of damage since then. I just purchased a 69 Nova kit from David (ewetwo) so that I could try to get it done. Later-
  6. Not really on the road but at the end of the road to my place. Been driving by it for a month now and the other day it was in his front yard- so, I know it moves. Not terribly exciting or exotic but you don't see these Pontiacs much anymore. Later-
  7. Definitely loads of talent! That looks amazing! Are you planning to have this cast? Not my cup of tea, but seeing what it is and how well it's done, who could say no? It would look great in that light Metallic Blue sitting on my shelf. Later-
  8. No problem. I found my decals and they are badly cracked anyway. Later-
  9. Looks great so far! I'll be watching for updates. Later-
  10. I should have an extra set of decals if you want them. Not sure what shape they are in. They will probably need coated too. At least it would give you another shot at it. Later-
  11. Thanks Carl. Made a bit more progress yesterday detailing the front grill and rear bumper chrome. On to working on the chassis. I'm thinking of using the lowrider suspension parts from the 70 Monte Carlo. Later-
  12. Thanks David. Looking forward to getting this one finished. Later-
  13. When I saw it I wasn't sure it wasn't a Deal's Wheels kit since I never knew what subjects they made. One of the reasons I bid on it was to get it and see if it was a DW or someone's custom creation. I was happy to see that it had been chopped down to make the shortened body. Back to the OP so that I don't hog this post. Later-
  14. That looks like fun. It's going to look cool when done. I think I have some 59-60 Chevy parts. Let me know if you need anything. I got this one someone had built. It was falling apart and had a 59 Chevy windshield frame. I tore it down, molded in a 69 GTO windshield frame, repainted it and got it together. Later-
  15. Got the interior finished tonight while on Zoom with Sam I Am. Later-
  16. Bring it on!! I like the "off the wall" builds from time to time. Helps.keep this hobby fun and interesting. Later-
  17. Yeah, I didn't have it and I got this idea floating around in all the empty space upstairs. Thought I'd give it a try. Later-
  18. Picked up another sealed one o these off of FB Marketplace. Someday I need to start one of these Moebius Ford pickups. Later-
  19. I forgot that I had made a WIP for this until this morning. I have now moved from Washington State to Kentucky and have started unpacking. So, progress is slow on this. I managed to get a bit more done on the interior. I got the idea a couple of days ago to make a chain link steering wheel. I got a cheap necklace from Wal-Mart and last night I wrapped a length of it around a bit of tubing. Then I gently dabbed superglue with a toothpick onto the links. Once it set up I removed the tubing and hit it with accelerator. Now to make the center bars. Here is where im at. Later-
  20. Began making a chain link steering wheel for my 67 Impala. Bought a cheap necklace at Wal-Mart, wrapped the links around a bit of tubing and superglued the links and hit it with a bit of accelerator. Now to make the center spokes. Later-
  21. Got these two in a great trade with Dann Tier. Thanks Buddy! They look amazing! Later-
  22. Lol! I got one of those defective kits too! And the Dog version. Later-
  23. Nice work on this one! The color combination is perfect. I like the detailing you did with the engine and the interior looks great! Later-
  24. Nice work so far. I scratchbuilt the 4 link on my 71 GTX using scrap PE metal, tubing and some "rod end" (or a close representation) parts on hand. Wasn't the easiest way to go but it was fun to do. And I didn't have to buy another kit to rob parts from. Later-
