Very interesting project. I remember seeing a few 1/1 Avengers driving around town back in the day.

Well done. So you just don't build Pontiacs !!

Great looking builds. I really like the Daytona and the Torino

222 arrived in my mailbox today in Victoria BC Canada. I already read it cover to cover digitally but I have to admit I sure like holding and looking at the print issue better. It almost seems like a new and different issue.

Welcome to the forum Luca. New posts at this time of year tend to get lost due to all the people posting their collections of the past year builds. I think your build looks better than the box art. I built an STS when it first came out and found it an interesting kit. I think the giant wheels and scissor doors may have turned some people off so I do not think I have ever seen another one built. Have a great 2024 and I look forward to seeing what you build during the next 12 months.

Good looking Galaxie. My parents had one new. I didn't care for the design then but I do like now.

Great looking builds of some of my favourite cars

I am surprised how many models you built in 2023 because they are all not surprisingly so well done. I recently enjoyed your interview on Model Car Muse. Have a great year.

You mentioned Merkur. I built a Ford V-8 powered Merkur at least 20 years ago. Because Merkur is Mercury in German, and I always associated Mercurys with customs, I decided to build a custom Merk. I combined the roof section from a stock Tamiya Sierra with the lower body from a racing Sierra to get the distinctive Merkur side windows with a more custom body. To this I added a 5.0 Ford V-8 from a 1/24 Monogram 55 Ford Pickup Street Machine kit. [Apparently, there were V-8 Sierras in South Africa]. I painted it purple because the first custom Merc I ever saw was purple. At the time of the build 3-spoke wheels were popular with the tuner crowd which I considered the customs of the day. Coincidentally I came across this thread when I searched Miata and saw your stalled project. I am almost finished building a Ford V-8 powered Miata which I will display here when done.

Very impressive production of model cars. Many sure look good in the outdoor settings. I was going to say you are a Buick guy but see you like a wide variety of brands.
