  1. Sorry to hear the passing of Wingrove. A great modeler and inspiration to us all. As far as the rant on Picasso I haven't seen a post where anyone made the comparison. However Da Vinci was even greater. He was a great artist and engineer. He envisioned things long before they were even possible.
  2. I don't think the front fenders were lengthened 6 inchs. The front wheel wells were moved forward to center then with the arch in the front fenders. I think it was for 2 reasons. I think for appearance and for function. To me it looks better. Also effectively moves the engine weight back for better handling. I like what was done with the car.
  3. Wow what a beauty. Love the color.
  4. Interesting. Never knew they made this kit. Knew about the pro stock version.
  5. Was looking on the magazine page. Did a search on lifetime. According to this link http://www.modelcarsmag.com/lifetime-subscriptions-sold-out/ the lifetime subscriptions have sold out. Thanks to all that made it happen.
  6. Any updates on this cool project.
  7. Definitely will be following. Concept drawing is great. Going to be a cool project.
  8. Tom you could always say it was a copy of a rare prototype that never made it to production.
  9. Rob there is nothing wrong with the theme. I've been trying to finish up a few stalled projects. At the same time I've been planning my entry and gathering parts.
  10. Ouch. Is it just that fender?
  11. Nice work on converting the interior back to stock. The body looks great also. Sure wish we'd get a stock body of this car. Keep up the nice work.
  12. I worked for a company that did large format printers and plotters. Any order to China was a huge pain becuase 8f the paperwork. If we sent printers for trade shows had to have a buyer. Its was very difficult to get anything out of China. Any model tooling isn't going to leave China. If its recent the files could be used to recreate the toolong else where. But if the tooling was created from wood masters then that not going to work.
  13. A I am also curious in the response to the lifetime subscriptions. Hoping that is a success.
  14. Interesting project. Looking forward to seeing more progress.
  15. Wow this is coming together quickly. Very nice work.
  16. What about wrapping a plastic hose with super fine wire?
  17. What would go a long way in getting javelin would be a well written proposal. How many varients can be generated? What about drag versions? I really don't see Revell or round 2 doing. Seems like a good possibilty for Mobeius but not sure if it would be possible since the sale.
  18. Cool. Nicely done. And the repair shop is easy Area 51 of course.
  19. Coming along nicely.
  20. Sorry to hear there were problems Dave. Hoping the next attempt is successful. Thank you for your time.
  21. Nicely done. You make it easier than it really is. Its hard to make so many precise cuts.
  22. The adage "No good deed go unpunished" truly applies here. Instead of commending Gregg on his perseverance to overcome a long list of hurdle he gets a kick in the head!!
