Well went to go to run an errands and had my battery give up. Now at least this was at home. Second I have several appointments this week and next week and not having my car would have been an issue. In addition I can get a ride from my sister tomorrow to get another battery. Looked at date on the battery and it was purchased in August of 2018 so I got 5 years out of a 3 year warranty battery.

Recently I have come to the realization that complaining about things beyond my control is foolish and a waste of time and energy that can be used to achieve my goals in life.

Don't think that that was an outrageous price. For the memories you have are priceless and getting to relive them is important.

Besides the crazing issues Rustoleum is notorious for never drying. Personally if it was me I'd use Tamiya paints( not the rc paint) for primer, color coat, and clear. It's bad enough to mess up a regular kit you don't want to take chances with a rare kit.

Not being able to change headlight or taillight bulbs ,now you have to change the whole assembly. So instead of being a ten dollar fix now you have to spends hundreds of dollars.

Being a solid color you should be able to touch up. I agree that stripping and repainting is overkill. Besides you can always put the others ideas facing out.
