  1. I would be interested if it were a 2n1 with a Nascar option. Or maybe they will do a wagon?
  2. Looks good!
  3. I would buy and build these just out of nostalgia!
  4. Here's hoping that some good will come out of this bankruptcy. Revell has been getting by for a while and maybe, just maybe the restructuring will allow them to start again with the drive they had when they first started. As far as the companies who have gotten the old molds, perhaps they will see this as a new opportunity and dive to restore the old tools and make a go of it.
  5. Thanks for the notice, I told my wife and she put it on TIVO. She love this movie!
  6. These might work, they work out to maybe 22 or 23 inches in 1/25th scale. I think the unassembled version of it includes two set of wheels but only one set of tires.
  7. Years ago I heard that the molds for these AMT kits were still around. When the Parts Packs started being re-released I was really hoping to see these come out as well. Still hoping! I would also love to see the Japanese companies turn out those old 'extras' as well.
  8. I actually owned a 1991 Nite edition for several years. I wouldn't mind getting a set of these as well.
  9. I've got a set of those decals somewhere. I'm rearranging things and hoping I'll come across them. I think the decals make two cars.
  10. I never met him and yet I miss Harry! This kit doesn't come with any and I can only find one that looks decent. I'm actually planning on trying to cast it this weekend.
  11. I cleared a few square inches of work bench and managed to finish a hot rod Porsche RSR and I got some work done on my Cannonball entry's 6BT diesel.
  12. Really like these conversions!
  13. That looks really nice. Such a smooth paint job and a good build of a hard to do kit.
  14. I know I need to branch out, but after a long time of not finishing anything, I got started on these kits. This one I finished a few minutes ago. It's another of the Monogram Porsche curbsides which is my favorite kit of all time. This time it is the RSR. I've been trying to do some brighter stuff so the paint is Testor's Mopar GreenGo. I like building these up as the hot rods I would build if I had the money. I removed the molded in seats and added the racing buckets from the MPC Pinto wagon. The wheels are from the partsbox. I heard we were going to have rain this weekend so I hurriedly painted it and luckily beat the showers. I removed the molded in mesh on the front spoiler and made custom headlights out of modified rhinestones. So anyway here it is, any suggestions cheerfully accepted.
  15. I like some of the F150 and Ram variants, but GM and Chevy really went full metal ugly on theirs.
  16. Here's hoping someone will issue a resin conversion kit to do a Singer car.
  17. Sorry, 37. Got distracted..
  18. As much as I hate the idea of Monogram-Revell going under, at least it sounds like these molds are going to a good place. On top of that it seems like they lost interest in the NASCAR kits anyway, so maybe we'll get some cool reissues of old kits with new decals. I've lost interest in current NASCAR, but I will buy classic kits with new or different decals.
  19. Yes, that trailer with the 36 Ford is a good one. Switch out the wheels for some period correct ones and it looks good. You can also cut the hatch lid off, hinge it and hinge the tailgate fairly easily to add some detail.
  20. Well, that sucks. Rustoleum is not a good product, certainly not close to Dupli-Color. The big box stores are also replacing their Krylon products for Rustoleum as well.
  21. Last weekend I found Hobby Lobby had gotten the Lost VW Van in Greenlight 1/24. On the way home tonight I stopped at another HL and they had the Field of Dreams version. I used the coupon and got it for $19.78. It's kind of silly, but this made my day! Now I've got to decide whether to display them as is or maybe to redo it to match an old high school friend's ride.
  22. AMT has the chassis already in the fastback 67-68 kit. Maybe it's more complicated than that, but it seems to me they could tool up a body and chassis tub to fit and then they'd have two kits to release instead of one.
  23. This is another of those kits I wish they would reissue with a few added parts. How about a slant six, and a set of stock steelies and hubcaps to make the kit a 2-n-1?
