  1. Revell did a 2014 Stingray in both pre-painted snap and glue kits. No C7 Z-06 or ZR-1. There are 1/24 diecasts of these, but they are pretty poor, IMHO......Also no C8 plastic kits, but there are 1/24 C8 Stingray diecasts in several colors. These are about the same quality as the C7 diecasts. They are generally inexpensive, but will most likely develop "paint rash" or worse if you keep them long enough....That is why I am not a fan of diecast models, especially for a car that is not even made out of metal to start with. I would love to see plastic models of the C7 and C8, especially the higher end models. I think the model companies got burned when they flooded the market with the C4s years ago, and now are gun shy, even though the C7 and C8 are significant evolutions to the brand.
  2. A small block chevy.....probably a 283 or 327 to start with.
  3. Great job! nice use of metallics on the chassis and engine and the decals look really good!
  4. Excellent work, you really captured the original car in scale!
  5. I got mine today too. Very nice, I have another one on the way and will get at least one more. Not a fan of the Buick engine, but I have plenty of others to replace it.....
  6. Very nice work! Love the flat paint job, it really works for this car!
  7. Got mine, very happy with it! ?

    Yellow streak.

Nice job! Great work on the decals and graphics!
  9. Kool! The color looks great with those decals! Really liking the hot rod version!
  10. I would say it is this one. Similar box design to the recent 'Lil' Vicky '32 Ford.
  11. I am not against electric power, the current Ford drag cars, for example, are pretty cool.... But I don't think this was a good move for Project X. I also thought the last version was out of character too, with all the fancy finishing and GM backing. The original car was supposed to be an "every man" hot rod test bed. I can see why they did it I guess, but I think it has too much history being what it is to "ruin" it this way.......I guess they can always change it back.
  12. Perhaps make a straight axle from aluminum or brass tubing?
  13. Beautiful work on this great classic! Nice color combination! Looks better than the box art colors.....
  14. Another outstanding drag build! Your models are excellent!
  15. Cool idea! If I did it, I would build a 60's era NHRA Street Roadster, something like this: They kinda look like they are full scale parts box builds and probably were, lol!
  16. I have checked at a number of local stores and there has been nothing......Easton & Bethlehem in Pa and Phillipsburg, Nj. Last year around Christmas time, the Lehighton, Pa. store had the aisle display.
  17. Excellent! Great stance and 60's vibe!
  18. Just ordered mine! ?
  19. Another cool conversion! Great job!
  20. Excellent work! Nice conversion.
  21. Nice job! Clever use of existing, easy to find kits to make something cool!
  22. Great reimagining of a classic show rod! Very clever!
  23. Super job! Great paint, detail work, and the Vinyl top looks very realistic.
  24. Very nice work!
