Nice looking truck, but I'm more impressed with your place! Huge shade trees, and that porch just looks like a great place to kick your feet up and shoot the bull. Just an over all ol' timey welcoming feel to it. Congrats!
Your extra attention to detail painting paid off hugely! You made this old kit look better than it really is, and that green looks SO nice here. Well done!
Well that just worked beautifully; looks exactly like anodized metal! Now I wish you would have brought some of that accenting into the interior with all that chrome! Oh well, next time maybe...
This is very nicely done. Great contrast between interior and exterior colors, looks SO sharp. Shows what a builder CAN accomplish with these older kits. Well done.
Very nice models. My dad had, for a short time, a 4-door Pontiac in exactly that color combo. (I think it was called a Grand Ville.) The little truck is just too cool, and just perfectly represents what makes hot rods fun! Nicely done.
Oh yeah. VERY nice; love that color, it really accents the lines of this body style (one of my favorites). Your model has a very realistic over all appearance, having a nice stance and clean details. The engine bay is beautifully done. I like that the "sit" of the model gives the illusion of heft and weight of the real deal. Very well done; a model to be proud of.
Looks cool, but you forgot to scribe gas filler door on quarter panel! (Wagons and 'Caminos filled from the driver's quarter.) Oh well, looks really nice with the upscale trim! I'm guessing by the slanted B-pillar this started with a Jimmy Flintstone resin delivery body?
Wow! That's interesting, a clear that protects without dulling is a Grail product for model builders, as most "chrom-ey" paints seem to be delicate to the inevitable touch.
Another nice star ship build! Have you ever built the AMT Defiant? Much larger and pretty well detailed; one of their better attempts, but it does take up some shelf space! Mine are still in the box!
Gorgeous build; the more I look, the more I like. Excellent color choice, and your attention to detail on the chrome work makes for an outstanding replica. Well done!
Nice one! The gray color with no stripes is very classy looking on the Chevelle; good choice. You really captured a realistic appearance here. Well done.
Looks like you whipped it into fine shape! You have a great looking model there, in spite of the wheels. If you hadn't posted a picture of the real thing, I'll bet many would never have noticed! Now I can't un-see it; it almost looks like 1/25 wheels and tires on a 1/43 model. Another call out to the 3D printers in our midst!
