Like the stance. What color are you using ?

The sun visor and fender skirts are also in place. I went with Tamiya clear this time and no problems.

Factory Stock Deora

Great looking build. Very interesting subject and was a big hit at the car shows of the time. -
Great job on the wiring detailing as this is what really makes the subject and your build a real standout. You even got the color difference between the stainless steel body and the plastic front and rear panels done correctly.

Amazing looking. Round 2 should use a picture of your build for their Box Art. I like the way you used a front bumper where their box art doesn't show one. This would make it a little more reasonable as a road car. The rear treatment looks great also. Never thought I'd get past the color, but the more I look at it the better it looks. Great finish and trim detailing.

56 Ford FD100 Pick Up

I have always enjoyed the creativity of your hover vehicle builds. Not for me as a builder, but still fascinating to watch the process and how you bring everything together in the end. -
I used that front end on a '49 Ford coupe body some time ago. Ya it will take a bit of putty to get all those parts to fit smoothly. The Windshield fitment issues are caused by the option of a chopped or standard roof, and on the real early issues they offered the Victoria hardtop stock and chopped roofs also.

What did you see on the road today?

A lot of great looking rides. The gray Road Runner just looks like something you don't really want to mess with. -
You really captured the Day Two look with this. In the pictures the paint color looks a lot like the Marina Blue of the time and was a very popular color at the time. Very nicely detailed interior and engine.

Beautiful looking old PD car. I enjoyed watching your build and McNally's travels.

Another great looking build.

Looks great and the black paint job is very smooth looking.

Besides being a beautiful looking build the roof treatment really makes this standout. I also like how you used the same treatment on the seat inserts. The engine compartment is well detailed and the overall clean appearance of the paint and body trim also.

I live in an area that used to be used for grazing cattle. I try not to dig to deep anywhere.

I have been using the drill bits in the circular container with great results. As for they being the X-Acto brand I can't really tell as their name doesn't appear anywhere on the container and this leads me to believe they are not X-Acto products. Non the less they have preformed perfectly in my mind. A few suggestions on the breakage issues you mentioned. I have fond that if I mark the spot I want to drill first does help. Think of it like a punch in metal work or even wood work. I use a #11 blade to gently start a small indentation where I want to drill. Next when putting the drill bit into the handle set it in to where just the groves of the drill bit are exposed. The "starting hole" gives the edge of a very fine bit something to get a hold off. By mounting the drill bit deep into the handle you're giving the bit more support. I also use very little pressure and let the bit do the work. They are very thin and delicate and I have found they will break easily if I apply much pressure. The set I'm using has sizes from #61 thru #80 and was purchased at a local hobby shop.

Beautiful looking T-Bird. I like all the little extras you added to make it look more like the TV car.

To quote Richard Prior, "This is the lords way of telling you you have way to much money". -
Obviously someone is going to be looking for work outside the transportation industry. Have to wonder how and where this overpass came from and how it got set this low.

Just out of curiosity how long does anyone think Ammo is good if stored in a dry mid 70's environment ?? I'm asking for a friend you understand.

Great looking build, and I also didn't notice anything out of place. I like your seat inserts, unusual, but they look good here.
-
Great looking custom. I like your color choice also.
-
Beautiful looking paint and trim. I'm not familiar with the subject, but I think it is a good looking car.

This is really the look of the time when this year model of Corvette was often made into a Gasser. The Decals have the period look as well. Paint finish is super smooth. Somewhere a Corvette purest would be hyper ventilating right about now.

One of the reasons not many Nova's didn't have a vinyl roof was that this was more of a price leader car and the vinyl roof covering didn't preform any known function beyond attracting rust to start between the top and the roof panel. The huge padded half roof covering option was sometimes seen with the later Nova Concourse trim. We sold a lot of Nova's at the dealership I worked at and stocked very few with a vinyl roof. I had two different Nova demo's with vinyl roofs. The first was the '75 Nova LN. Not often seen since the option put it in the Chevelle price range. They had a very unique interior and it was a great little car. I later had a Nova SS but the Sales Manager had ordered it with the Cabriolet style vinyl roof in Black. The car was a dark Maroon color and all the SS Striping was also Black. To me it looked hideous and to get it sold I offered any salesman who sold it an additional $100 out of my own pocket, and it still look them 6 months to sell the thing.
