  1. its all good in my eyes. Doubtful I'll build more than 1 ,, If I build a 2nd one it will go to a friend of mine who owns a 1/1 That actually HAS a Dana in it. Plus a 484 CU IN Hemi as well , but thats another story . I guess its more wishful thinking on my part. They go thru the trouble to tool up the AAR specific parts yet leave the Dana just boggles my mind
  2. Oldest kit I have completed is my 1958 Bonneville I built this one maybe 3 or 4 years ago Oldest build by me is probably a toss up between my Sox and Martin Roadrunner and this old Monza . I think both were done mid 80s time frame ' ish '
  3. Love it. Mine is still in the box
  4. Agreed With the cost of kits today. Having to buy another kit , or at the very least maybe go aftermkt for a correct diff ( if its avail ) . makes it tough to swallow. its not like these kits are $5.99 anymore Might be an opportunity for some enterprising aftermkt supplier to cast up a rear axle to fit a multitude of Mopar applications . and sell them in maybe a 5 pack or something along those lines
  5. Well, I'm not 100% sure on the torque boxes. So did some asking ,,,will report back EDIT. turns out the AAR Cuda and Challenger T/A did in fact have the hemi torque boxes . I stand corrected
  6. Great start
  7. Its very possible an AAR Cuda might , just MIGHT have torque boxes regardless of the ultimate sales destination ,,,but NOT likely. Dana rear axle is definitely not AAR only had 2 choices for rear a 3.55 or 3.91 ratio. Both are the 8-3/4 axle
  8. If thats the case. Thats a shame.
  9. Yep. Dana rear axle is 440 and Hemi car only.
  10. I sure would like to find the grille and hood out of this version. Buddy of mine owns a 1/1 1979 Little red his parents bought new.
  11. Have you seen these yet https://www.ebay.com/itm/CD-CC-077-Mr-440-1972-Plymouth-Roadrunner-Stripes-1-25-Scale-DECALS/223481187017
  12. Having owned 4 1969 GTX's. ( 2 hardtops and 2 convertibles) You could say I have a soft spot for one. And a good part of me would actually like to have another one someday My particular dream ride would be , A Hemi conv Especially this EXACT car. https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0117-267937/1969-plymouth-hemi-gtx-convertible/
  13. To funny, Wasnt a Vette made in '62 that stood any kind of chance against a 62 Dodge Max wedge. UNLESS it hard a sharp corner at the end.
  14. Several years ago. I saw one done in black with a Gold vinyl top and gold lettering. That car looked AMAZING. Black wasnt an avail color but sure should have been As just an fyi. Petty blue wasnt an avail color when birds were 1st introduced. That came later during the production run.
  15. Jon Stop. Im not trying to be a dick. Im just trying to say....that If one goes by the theory of the song. Meaning 413 ram induction or super stock or how ever it's worded (im not a beach boys fan and dont know the song ) Your bldg a Dart. And if its a 413. Its a max wedge .
  16. Never said you did. But. Ramcharger... Ram induction ..... Super stock. .....Max wedge or what every you prefer to call it. Was not avail in anything besides the B body platform. Aka. Dart. Belvedere . Fury...etc etc
  17. That intake was NOT avail in a 1962 Dodge Dart, period. That was full size Mopar cars ONLY Might have come in the Kits, but that intake was long gone by 1967 in ANY body style Mopar. I think 1962, ( maybe 1963 ) was the last year avail
  18. I had one of those. Was my very first brand new car 1988 ( although not a shelby ) , just a 2.2 Turbo ES.
  19. Nice, I used to own a black with red interior 1968 Chrysler 300 ragtop. Unfortunately lost it in a fire at a friends place about 10 years ago
  20. Considering Im a diehard Mopar guy. Be kind of hard for me to nail down one specific car. But being I am currently trying to buy this actual car. I'll put 1966 Satellite (in black with red interior please ) at the top of my list
  21. The wheels on the orange car were not even avail on a mopar past the 68 model year ( those were 67 - 68 only ) options avail were A - 14" road wheels , these had a satin finish trim ring B - steel wheels with either the beanie hubcaps or full wheel covers. 14" wheels could have been had with white wall or raised white letter tires ( red line tires were NOT an option on 1970 vehicles ) EDIT, the full wheel covers were 14" wheels only. Beanie hubcaps were avail on both 14" and 15" wheels If 15" steel wheels were ordered they got the beanie hubcap only and F60-15 raised white letter tires only. Just a little tidbit of info. In the 1/1 car world the 15x7 steel wheels are highly sought after and bring some serious money. ( like $500 or more for EACH wheel money depending on date code ) or C - the rallyes you show above, these were avail in either a 14" or 15" version PSS. the ONLY correct 1970 Plymouth beanie hubcap shown
  22. PS, 1962 is the ONLY year it was a 413. 1963 and early model year 1964 it was a 426. Mid year 1964 the Max Wedge was replaced by the Race Hemi 426 Either way. Whats not to love.. The Ultimate ZoomZoom,,,,,,,, imo
