  1. Most , maybe even all the above please. As for the Bill Bagshaw cars, I'm baffled as to why no one has ever done the decals to do either of these is beyond me
  2. Some one correct , but wasn't this kit produced a couple times. One where it had said door scoops and one where it had the correct depressions like on the 1/1 ? One with a somewhat stock chassis and one with a full nascar chassis Notice slightly different boxart
  3. I started work at the local dodge dealer about 1986 or so. Best I remember they were a light grey primer or similar but with a satin finish ( some kind of gelcoat maybe )
  4. wow, just plain WOW
  5. Due to the design of the head on a Hemi, fenderwell headers are pretty much non-existant
  6. Would be super cool, although Im not holding my breath
  7. Ive got a few years before retirement yet. ( about 6 min and 10 max depending on my health ) We recently moved to southern AZ this past summer ( decided to make the move now as opposed to retirement time.) I landed a job at the Tucson Airport ( aka state retirement benefits to help with SS ) Wife god landed a job making 10K more than back in KY. This past Sept we purchased a townhouse / investment property / future retirement residence . Plan was live here till we get acclimated to the area . BUT, Just last weekend we put an actual house under contract, hope to close on it by the end of the month. Also Looking to purchase an old car next spring maybe,,early summer at the latest . So life is good. Im sure I'll tinker at the model bench a little here and there But Im afraid model cars will probably take a back seat for a while Once moved in and settled I plan to dig thru , sort out and go thru the stash and do some major house cleaning / thinning down big time .
  8. Might think about the pickup / go cart. the rest ,,,,meh!!!!
  9. I see this same scene all the time here in southern AZ, only the vehicles have Mexico plates
  10. When I sold mine , buyer used Fedex transport. Not the cheapest one by any means but car was delivered on time and in the exact same condition when it left me Also, Ive been told this guy can do it, hes a very active member of another forum I belong to ( www.moparts.com ) 6 Year Moparts Sponsor Customer Feedback Click Here Check the latest post below to see where I am headed to next ... 11. Agreed 100% Keep in mind ,,,These cars changed pretty much from race to race. So narrowing one car down to one race will be a little tough
  12. This is the current restored version of the car ( not sure if its the 70 or 71 ) Be very cautious using modern pictures of cars for vintage references. That said, Im afraid I cant answer the op with any certainty on my end . And I have a boatload of S+M pictures but nuttin of the bottom side
  13. I finally dug one out a year or so ago and built it. REALLY glad to have one personally. I love this kit and could care less if its 'accurate ' or not. Its from my youth ,,,which I want to retain and relive as best I can , while I can. Some of my builds I try to make reasonably close to accurate, but others I just try to have fun with . And these 2 were at the top of that list . And the same goes for the Sock it To Me 1962 Vette. There are far better versions of a 62 Vette out there. But this kits was just plain fun to build. And the 2 look killer beside one another in my case
  14. Nice job on the conversion In the 1/1 world about the only power train that would have the 7.25 rear diff is a slant six car. even then the 8.34 would still been an option
  15. Nice pics, I had planned earlier this year to go, But we decided to make the move to Arizona and that took care of that. Actually thinking we may go next year ,,,time will tell I guess Love the 55 Imperial custom btw, and sure wish the model companies would do an early Imperial
  16. I'm lucky I guess. I have a decent builder ( have had it for years ) I've no real interest in a resin version ( sorry not a resin fan ) I've toyed with the idea to sell it off every now and then , but then I come to my senses and put it back in the pile
  17. Very nice. I had this car all planned out to do , but had issues with the Cady decals while doing the Gold version. So i shelved it and have yet to get back to it ( maybe someday soon I hope ) Ive got six on them done myself and decals to do maybe 4 or 5 more
  18. Ive no fricken idea what this is about, and doubt I'm alone
  19. just an fyi, ( if it matters to you ) the air cleaner and valve covers are all wrong for a 1969
  20. Well, I tried to get a few needed items. And a couple of pieces I wouldn't mind having as spares ( Johan 70 GTX grille as example ) might need at some point ,,,, But not MUST haves. Tried to ck out and most of it vanished from my list . I tried a few times over the course of a maybe 5 minutes. And kept getting same errors code I finally gave up and emptied my cart and forgot about it.
  21. edit, the one with the loop goes to the front. loop mounts on the drivers side. And I think to the top ( not sure on the detail ) its the attaching point for the radius rod on the front axle ,,,hopefully you can make it out in this pic
  22. I would, and I have a whole stockpile of started kits, But with us just moving across country I have zero time or space to drag out model kits at this time . I did drag out a couple kits to display,,,, 3 actually
