Let's See Some Glue Bombs!

I don't have any before pics but all that was salvageable from glue bomb state was part of cab and center frame section

Picked this up at an estate sale today for $4. Not sure if the placement of the steering wheel is correct as there were no instructions

Don't you know? That's the optional, ultrasonic, megawave, heat exchange, centralized hovercraft converter unit.

A very rare part, only a few Avantis were ever sold with them. Thats why Studebaker when bankrupt. It couldn't overcome gravity! ?

That's also why this one was only built with one wheel.?

Original 1956 Pontiac Club De Mer. Lots of glue on this one.Old AMT 32 Ford my late wife got for me. 50 cents at a yard sale in Nebraska. Never painted,but tons of glue.Old MPC kit. Lots of glue & paint. Have all the parts to rebuild it.

Wait, did you hollow out some BF Goodrichs and put some O/S Boyd Coddingtonian 5spokes in 'em...?

Really liking the appliance (avacado) green too!! Seriously good s tff going here

Jeff, that truck is diabolical, well done! 90s mini-truck meets rat-rod...a combination I never would have imagined. It's so darn long, it demands respect, haha. Great use of a gluebomb body!

Here's my glue-bomb. The interior bucket and windshield ARE going to be FUN to get unglued!

This one wasn't really a glue-bomb, but it had it's share of problems.

An update on my earlier post re the "Five-Dollar Duster"; two gluebombs combined into one presentable kit ......you've seen the "before", now the "after".

Everything went as planned except the use of the new-tool '71 Duster decals; due to the differences in body dimensions (the new version is larger).  I could make them fit, but I'm not sure I want to go to the trouble, so for now it's a stripe-delete car.  

If nothing else, it's a good excuse to revive a fun thread, and maybe encourage some to rescue those junkers.      

Couldn't resist a bonus A-body group shot (the orange '70 Duster is a former glue-bomb '71 too)

Here's a couple new ones. The '72 Nova, I'll try to give it one of my weekend fixup makeovers, just improve the OB's original vision a little. The Aurora/Monogram 250 GTO, I might just clean it up and see if the red plastic will take a polish. Were the Monogram repops molded in red, or is this a real original Aurora?

My current "Hopeless Case", provided by Pat Minarick (Thanks, Pat). 69 Falcon junker. 

As received...

After 3 soaks in brake fluid, 4 sprays with Easy-Off oven cleaner and 2 swipe sessions with mineral spirits to remove the small stuck areas. That blue paint was tough!

And as it is right now...

The hood is borrowed from my 66 Falcon and is used to make sure all the pieces are in the right place. I might try scratchbuilding a new hood if I can't find another one.

I plan on using the chassis and most of the interior from the 66 Fairlane and a small block Ford from an early Mustang to get it up and running. Pat supplied the grille, bumpers, taillights, dash and windshield, so I'm almost there.

The body still has all of the trim and script details intact so I'm trying to restore this to stock as best as I can.
