And yeah, it was horrible to watch and look at when it was done. If I'm hoping/expecting, it will be this kit. If not, I would also be happy with a '66 Nova wagon. A '66 or '67 Fairlane wagon would really be cool!
stavanzer
Really Does not matter which wagon Round2 does. I'll be buying a couple of them. Never can have enough wagons.
keyser
Better than Montego. LOL. That'll start handbag fight probably. Vista Cruiser already done by R2 diecast I think. Love to see it bigger, 442 W30/Hurst wagon Edited February 3, 2020 by keyser

Maybe the Nomad, Vega dragster, ‘65 Chevelle or ‘79 Pinto. That would fit the Round 2 script—reissue existing tools w Coca-Cola decals and box art. personally I don't really care and not wasting time dreaming of an old reissue such as the Buick or a new tool of any type and believe Rob nailed it either the Chevelle or the Pinto
Plowboy
Round2 just recently reissued the '65 Chevelle wagon as a surf wagon. Wasn't that long ago (seems like) that they issued it as the Super Wagon. So, I would be surprised to see it reissued again so soon. Didn't the Pinto have a wagon option? Never owned one and still haven't bought the reissue. We didn't see the four door '67 Impala coming either. So, maybe they have something up their sleeve. Hope so. I may have to break my Mouse Finger to keep from going back to this one. A '64 Nova wagon with many new parts and the bulletproof 6-cylinder engine. The only mods seem to be a pair of Camaro bucket seats and a modern stereo. It's located only about 50 miles from me. Must not click...must not click... Can-Con
If it's an all new tool, it could only be a Family Truckster. BUT, I'd rather see almost anything else.

I built one when I was 7 or 8...I had a bottle of Pactra chocolate brown and another of sky blue...didn’t know how to do decals then...so it became chocolate brown and sky blue. It was one of the ugliest things I have ever seen! I want to build my new one as an ISCA style show car. Chrome where there shouldn’t be. Murals. Fur. Side pipes. I want to double down on that funky ‘70’s badness! So...hopefully coming to the Philly NNL at some point in the somewhat near future...one of these! Jon Cole
Can't go wrong with an old Chevy. Seems like the '62 would be a save bet. Contemporary. Old skool. Stock.
Chuckyg1
If I remember correctly, Hemmings Muscle Machines did a feature of an early '60's poncho wagon equipped with 421 super duty from the factory. That's where my vote goes.

I thought it looked better before the studio got ahold of it. White, and it had whitewall tires. My parents had one, purchased new in 1972. I bought this one in 1986. Joe Handley
What wagon would I like to see, that's easy................... Should have been done a long time ago! Now that's said, how about this since there is already a kit that exists in various forms, one of them already a half-_____ wagon. 89AKurt
I think everything (except the Ferrari Breadvan ?) has the possibility. My choice, Nomad kits are dime a dozen, not the 4 door wagon. I owned this last century, found the crude resin copy of a promo on eBay that will take a ton of work to look good.
keyser
All due props to deeply missed and happily retired I hope Don Holthaus. Caprice Estate owner for ages, great casting of one. Driving thru the deserts of CA and NV, he liked to come across young hot-rodders and blow their doors off. They couldn't believe they were being passed by an old geezer in a long-roof. Here's a Hemmings comment, though I'm not sure about that "side-oiler" Pontiac engine: "Bill Harrah had the ultimate station wagon. I believe it was 1962 Bonneville wagon that was modified from new with parts from a special racing Catalina. The side-oiler engine, 4-speed transmission, aluminum front fenders, hood & bucket seats were installed on the station wagon together with SW gauges & a Nardi steering wheel. They installed twin fuel tanks so Mr. Harrah could drive to Stanley, ID from Reno at speed without stopping for fuel. I remember it held 12 quarts of oil. Not a family wagon." https://www.hemmings.com/blog/2015/01/06/aaca-museum-celebrates-the-station-wagon-with-upcoming-family-affair-exhibit/comment-page-2/ I have a book about Harrah. It describes him trying to special-order a Hemi station wagon from Chrysler. First Chrysler flatly refused, for liability reasons. Harrah kept pushing. Chrysler finally said they might do it, but would need $10,000 up front for an "engineering study." To make sure the wagon chassis could stand up to the Hemi power. Harrah didn't like that idea. He finally said, "Sell me a station wagon and sell me a Hemi engine. I'll swap the engines myself, in my own shop." And that's what they did. Harrah had good reasons for needing a high-powered station wagon. He owned casinos in Las Vegas, Tahoe and Reno, and often transported large amounts of cash between the three cities. Bucky
Probably a real long shot, but I'd like to see them make a 1972 Chrysler Town and Country wagon.

Many years ago I toured Mr. Harrah's Automotive Museum on several occasions. I think Jay Leno would have been impressed. I don't recall the exact year but at the time Mr. Harrah was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee, you remember the big ones with the wood trim and all. The power plant at that time was a duel overhead cam V-12 from on of his import dealerships. I also have seen one of his personal speed boats at the Wood Boat Show at Lake Tahoe. Stainless Steel roof covering the main Solon and an Allison air craft engine for power. I guess when you have that much money your transportation needs are only limited by your imagination.
