NOBLNG Posted February 8, 2021 Posted February 8, 2021 (edited) Just finished this one. Fun little kit! Box stock build except for added dash detail, plug wires, belt tensioner, and scratch built tail lights. Paint is Spaz Stix solid red and Testors clear laquer. Oops, forgot the exhaust tips! Classicgas Posted February 8, 2021 Posted February 8, 2021 Looks good. Got this one in process myself.
BIGTRUCK Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 Looks super, a very clean build, love that shifter knob and that dash. Nice work.
bisc63 Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 Excellent little hot rod; just enough shine and natural metal finishes for contrast, and how CLEAN! Love it.
slusher Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 Beautiful, nice touch on painting the scoop body color on top of the engine Greg.
NOBLNG Posted February 9, 2021 Author Posted February 9, 2021 Thanks all of You for the nice comments! Tom...I’m still working on the Jeeps. Ken...I re-made the gage pod from styrene and printed the gage faces. The wood is veneer for counter edging. Carl...I had to paint the grill shell since a chunk of chrome peeled off so I figured why not do the scoop too.
Kromolly Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 That's beautiful. Love the Buick brake drums. Nice detail all around. I'm on the hunt for a coupe kit.
Dave72 Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 (edited) Very nice build! Interior details look great! Beautiful color and perfect stance. Nice job. Edited February 10, 2021 by Dave72
Koellefornia Kid Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 Love the paint! Great looking rod!
Earl Marischal Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 Splendid job. Looks just right. steve
Bainford Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 Great looking rod. Very clean in both style and execution. Nicely done!
Dennis Lacy Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 Very nice! The damaged chrome on the radiator shell was a happy accident because this model looks so much better with the shell painted. The paint detailed blower scoop is a nice touch, too.
christian-w Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 Very nice! I like all the details. The dash board, the shifter knob, brake drums or this beautiful wheels. Very nice!
alan barton Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 That is an exceptionally clean built of a truly wonderful kit. Just about the cleanest hubcap highlighting I've ever seen! Cheers Alan
BeakDoc Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 Fantastic looking hot rod, Greg! The extra effort really transforms a rather simplistic interior into eye candy. Well done!
NOBLNG Posted February 12, 2021 Author Posted February 12, 2021 Thanks again To everyone for the appreciation and nice comments.

Thanks...Yes, it did actually. It tends to “frame” the engine better, and it doesn’t overshadow the chrome suspension in my opinion.
