Peter Lombardo Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 great looking builds of vehicles that we don't see every day, rare and beautiful.
espo Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 Great looking build. Too bad Pontiac couldn't have done that using the Chevroley El Camino way back when.
Geno Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 Man, those are sooooo sweet Glen, great builds.
casassa Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 If it's a resin body, are copies for sale anywhere? JIM
damodelguy az Posted February 13, 2022 Author Posted February 13, 2022 listed on ebay under forgle9 thank you for your interest. and all
bisc63 Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 I think most of us as modelers have at one time or another attempted to turn a car into some phantom style "el camino", with varying degrees of success. Some body styles lend themselves to the look, and some are just awkward. These builds of yours work, and they work beautifully. Nice work on both.
Koellefornia Kid Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 Both look great! I dig your wheel choice for the ´59! Works good with the stance!
David G. Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 Excellent work on both of them. I especially like the color combo on the '60, it works very well with the body style. David G.
happy grumpy Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 Great looking duo, we don't see these often.
unclescott58 Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 Very kool. Both of them. I don’t know if a lot of people know it, but Pontiac built at least one prototype of this vehicle in 1959. And another in ‘78 or ‘79 based on that generation El Camino.
Zippi Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 Nice looking pair of Pontiac's. love the co!or on both.
Steve H Posted February 17, 2022 Posted February 17, 2022 I love me an El Camino. Very nice builds Glen. I agree with Rusty’s comments on phantoms, these are both very well executed and look fantastic. Cheers, Steve
