av405
Alberto, if an item is on sale at HL the 40% off coupon can not be used. I usually pick up supplies in that case, and then wait until the models are off sale before I buy any. Bummer. Thank you.

cobraman
Found this little Daytona Cobra while poking around on ebay. Looks like about 1/43 scale. It was made in Hong Kong. It has a friction motor. Not the most detailed replica but since I have never seen another I had to add it to my Cobra collection.

sjordan2
The original Gunze Sangyo issue of the 1937 Rolls Phantom III Sports Saloon, totally original boxing. I have this in Revell, Anmark and Entex versions, but this should be a lesson to all kit manufacturers. All individual sprues are in separate clear cellophane, the body is enclosed in cardboard that is attached to the box, and also attached to the body by staples, as are inserts with cryovac boxes for tires, decals, hinges, etc. Nothing can get screwed around in this boxing. The box art shows exactly what the kit can look like.
jrherald420
Skip your right! Gunze Sangyo knew how to pack a kit!! I wish they were still around, makes me wonder how the quality of their kits would be?
Agent G
Two sets of Fruillmodel metal tracks. One set for the current Tiger tank underconstruction, the other for a future build. Also scored some beautiful brass aftermarket parts like tow shackles and tapered radio antennas. G

jbwelda
I have and have built those little garage kits, they are pretty neat but I remember I had trouble with the cover or the floor being warped enough to make a difference. I got a Tamiya diamond file for photoetch work. typical impeccable quality in every way and I don't believe I have ever seen a file so fine. jb

Chillyb1
I got a Tamiya diamond file for photoetch work. typical impeccable quality in every way and I don't believe I have ever seen a file so fine. jb On the strength of your recommendation I ordered one today. Dealing with photoetch really does require this sort of thing. So thanks for the suggestion at a moment when I was feeling particularly suggestible. Luc Janssens
Bought these couple of oldies recently both are unstarted and will get built ...eventually ! Had this one, sold it because I heard that Trumpeter was tooling up one, regretted it, after seeing the first reviews..despite the tireburns on the rear decklid and other flaws... disabled modeler
I've got such mixed feelings on this kit. On one hand it's great to see it back. But, where are the parts to build the showroom stock version? Have looked at the kit. Someone had one they opened at last week's MCCM meeting. It's cool, but.... Tom Geiger
I hear you Scott...I too want the parts back for the factory stock version of this kit. I have one factory stock from my dads old stuff but it needs a lot...I also have the original stock car version still sealed yet by MPC but I have been told its only the race car version...bummer. I think Mark answered the question.. sounds like the tool was modified from stock to make the stock car version. If the original was a 2 in 1 and the stock parts were on the tooling, Round 2 would've given them to ya!
