Just received the new Salvino's JR 1973 Petty Charger.  I haven't started it but looking at it I think they did a good job, the body looks spot on.

I must live in the wrong state. Never come across anything like this here.

Thanks Carl. Here are more pics of what I found inside that I want to start on first.

I got this ten pound bag of #8 shot to fill the black leather shot bag, beneath it. Also picked up my first forming stake, and this vintage Globemaster anvil. I also have a new chasing hammer on the way. I want to step up my sheet metal working skills. The anvil has a stake pocket that fits the jewelers stake better than the one in my 20-pounder. It also almost matches my ancient Globemaster bench vise. ? I want to clean up the anvil's work surface. I'm not sure the shot bag will be useful for modeling, but, I wanted to have it, just in case I found an instance where it might be useful. Besides, I love playing around with new techniques!

One last score before bedtime (almost didn't check for it!), and it's an important one:

'58 Buick Roadmaster interior and dash. Been looking patiently over a year for one - it's for the '57 Roadmaster styrene body from Argentina that Tom P. never got started on. This is the last big piece of the puzzle! :)

Got these Dana Camaro hoods from Competition Resins - great casting and service. Highly Recommended

Got three more parts kits (makes 6 total) of the Revell Choppers given to me. These ones have the frames, at least. Now I don't have to scratch build a frame.

Also got this Ferrari 512S given to me by the same guy. Sealed inside. Looks like a great kit.

This is my $20 local estate auction find over Easter weekend. 1/8 scale Monogram '65 Corvette

She has had some front end and right fender damage so I won't sell it now and have begun some repairs with softened styrene before body filler

Picked these up today at Hobby Lobby with the 40% discount. I've never attempted to do a 16th scale build even though I have an Enter 1967 mustang in my stash. Problem is the a pillars are broken at the base so there it sits in the store room.

I finished that T Bird a couple months ago. Windshield frame bent too bad to repair. Kit is pretty good but the doors don't work too well but that could be my fault.

That good to know Al. Thanks for the info. If you had problems Ray. Then I know I will. Was your windshield frame broken when you bought it? I better open mine while I have the receipt.
