Straightliner59 Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 Picked up the Grump Vega at Walmart, today. The last time I walked into a store and saw this kit, I was 15 years old! I got the Mark IV on Ebay, shipped, for just under $30. I couldn't pass that up. 1

The Universe must have decided you had some Good Karma coming.
CabDriver Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 Ordered one of these a month or so ago and the eBayer was trying to pull some kind of scam…so I got a refund, reordered elsewhere and it came in 3 days! Excited to start messing with this one 1

keyser Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 JH did 66. Amt or MPC did 67 and 68 I think. 69-70 JH again, thru 72. I remember amt box for 69 or 70 though. Mark knows. I recall MPC box in there too. they made Mannix and Californian out of it
keyser Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 (edited) Sorta close. Ok. JH 66, 69 AMT and MPC both had 67 and 68 AMT and JH had 70 JH issues well after fact in USA oldies Edited September 22, 2021 by keyser Forgot pic 66
keyser Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 (edited) Mannix roadster was MPC, predated Californian iirc. Ugly as hell. Dave Darby pointed out MOC giblets dissimilar to JH and AMT. So as mentioned JH did amt versions 67-68-70. Only sold 66 and 69 annual. Amt did 70 annual. JH later issued 70. Iirc it was stock only. Mannix was late 68 Californian was 69 Edited September 22, 2021 by keyser Pics
