While I am enjoying all the cool car photos from car shows or cruises, isn't the purpose of this thread to show what you saw on the road?

Sort of like the "Car Spotter" column in the Collectible Automobile Magazine. They want candid shots of vintage cars. They specifically state that "no photos from car shows".

I always enjoy seeing your car show pictures. A lot of great looking cars on the road in your area. You mentioned the V-8 Matador, they could also be had with their 401 cu in engine as well.

A while back, I posted a photo of a well-used ‘72 Ford station wagon I saw as I passed through the scenic little town of Bellevue, KY.

I wondered where it came from, and who was driving it. Now I finally found out where it was from, and it wasn’t alone… ?

A new Aston Martin DBX 4X4..

A loud growl as it drove past while we were walking down into town for our regular exercise.

Within the span of 5 minutes today I saw a beautiful primrose yellow Triumph TR4, a Ferrari FF, a McLaren 650s, and a Rolls Phantom Coupe. Naples is usually a pretty good carspotting town, but that was pretty wild.

Very nice mid-line '56 Ford Custom. These are hard to find anymore.

LOL, my friend Dave has 5 1/2 1956 Fords. Two Fairlane town sedans, a Victoria, a Crown Victoria, a convertible under restoration, and a convertible parts car.

Ah a Riley, it was a toss up in 1966 whether to get one of those or an A40 Austin Devon. As a neighbour had an A40 for sale I went for that!

Saw these two.

The first one is for sale, although I couldn't bring myself to look and see how much.

This one was had a whole side painted in a Mario Brothers theme.  I was only able to get a through the windshield picture of the back.  No idea what the passenger side looked like...

Was at WalMart yesterday and saw a halfway decent '70 Swinger driving around the parking lot. Non-factory green, tannish-brown interior, peeling vinyl roof. From its flatulent exhaust note, it was a slanty.

Not on the road, but on tv...watched the first 2 episodes of the new season of 'Goliath' last night, and there is a new Lucid Air seen in both episodes... I don't think it's even on sale yet, some product placement I assume.

I don't know...the cars in that picture don't look alike to me.

Anyway, I spotted these shiny things this past Saturday in Peabody, MA.

Yes vinyl body wrap has a lot to answer for!

Audi R8 (GTR?) in red with black carbon fiber.  If not this model it greatly resembled it.  On US 101 about 100 miles north of San Francisco.

Followed closely by a Lamborghini Huracan in Verde Mantis

and both followed by a Porsche 928S in a pedestrian graphite grey.

No pics, as I was too shocked and the light had just turned green too, but I saw what appeared to be a pristine condition early 90’s Toyota Tercel 2dr in gold and if that was not enough of a shock, but it was jacked up a bit rolling on 18”-20” wheels with a period correct gold finished basket weave center?!  Kinda reminded me of the 2dr Box Caprices with 24”-26” wheels, just baby sized!

coming home from work i pass a place called EDO Performance, it was ether Wednesday or Thursday there was a pink Nissan GTR in there.  looked like they may have been doing a photo shoot or something with it.

then yesterday leaving the bank there was a rather ratty late 40's/early50's Chevy truck driving through the parking lot.  kind of a "rat rod" if you will.  based on ride height it may have been bagged.  had some logo on the door i couldn't read, didn't get a super good look at it.

I forgot about these, saw a FWD Cutless drop top last weekend!

then last night, Dad and I saw this truck towing 3 of the arrow signs you find along the side of the roads for construction, we didn’t follow it to that point, but I kinda wanted to see that mess going through the diverging diamond over 88 in Naperville, but didn’t want to be near it at the same time, the 3 trailers were wagging each other behind the flatbed full of traffic barricades towing them.

Yesterday I spotted a really slick '33 Willow coupe coming through an intersection. It was riding high gassed style a sporting a blower through the hood. Car show ready and sounding sweet.
