espo Posted March 10, 2022 Posted March 10, 2022 I guess I'm old and out of touch, but when you have a nice set of wheels why would you paint them black so that you can't see any of the wheel details ? I realize that this seems to be the style now, but why not just put some steel wheels on a car if you're trying to hide the wheels appearance ? 1
Sam I Am Posted March 10, 2022 Posted March 10, 2022 I saw this today on the road.....somedays I just hate my job. 1
Rodent Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 Nice Bonnepile! The most impressive thing I saw on my trip to the grocery store was a Charger Hellcat being driven carefully and safely in traffic. 1

At a red light the driver shut the engine off and put it in park. (I saw the backup lights flash when he put it in park then drive). When the light turned green, he restarted and sped away.

Modlbldr Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 (edited) Not really on the road but at the end of the road to my place. Been driving by it for a month now and the other day it was in his front yard- so, I know it moves. Not terribly exciting or exotic but you don't see these Pontiacs much anymore. Later- Edited March 11, 2022 by Modlbldr 3

shoopdog Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 This came into work today, written up as a 49 Cadillac. Seems to have had some custom interior work done. 2
Mike C. Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 This guy was pulling out just when I was. Sounded real good. Gave him the thumbs up. '71 or '72. 2
The Junkman Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Lamborghini roadster (Aventador?) in Giallo Fides. Yellow to the rest of us peons. Naturally, on the freeway-opposite direction-just a momentary glance.
Mattilacken Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 I where at my family in Brazil during the last month. And in Rio you don’t se manny cool or enthusiast cars, but when you enter the garages you can find some. Here is a couple I found. Modified beetles are common.
Chuckyg1 Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 Saw this neat little combo while running errands yesterday. 2

PatW Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 It was a very smart Bright Orange (which was the standard colour) Bond Bug driving into the carpark of our local Lidl supermarket whilst we were having a lunch at Beefeater! Was it completely renovated or was the owner super careful over the years?
RSchnell Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 Late 60s Chevy Van at a garage. They had some other interesting stuff that I need to stop in and check out one day....
