Yeah it reminded me of the Transformers car too.  Making it even worse was he had the "to violate & punish" decal on the rear window.

Hilarious. Didn't even recognize the light bar (I still live in the past when those were big blue & plastic things), thought it was something in the farther background. Plus, I never followed any of the Transformers stuff.

Next door neighbour rolled this out of his garage this morning. He complained about the lack of storage space in it. ? Good for 211mph it seems...

steve

PS Not him in the pic!

Storage problems? No idea what he maybe hauling, but this is fast enough he could make two trips in the time that it would take to normally make one trip I would think.

He can only get 1 lady with him at a time?  If you can afford that , you can afford to get things dropped off at your place. LOL

If you can afford that in my neck o' the woods, they'll be standing in line around the block, carrying "PICK ME!!!" placards.

Makes you wonder if the suitcases on the roof are watertight or just there for effect.

Knowing his wife, he would be minus the Ferrari and most everything else if she caught him with another woman in it...

Seems like at the end of the rainbow, there isn't a pot of gold, just an old gold(ish) Lexus with a handicap plate. Perhaps the leprechaun spent all of the gold long ago, permanently hurt himself running from thieves, and needed cheap transportation?

Had to go back and get a closer look when I spotted this one.  Might be a fun build.

Tandem axles were/are popular among the minitruck crowd, but I don't think that's exactly what they were going for!  :D

That truck is definitely a work horse of some sort.......

Day before yesterday I came home from work to find this little guy in the tree line at the bottom of my driveway.20221205_164006.thumb.jpg.4eb9a0e03f48369a09725526fadc1abc.jpg

It obviously didn't quite make the sharp turn in the rain. It was left unoccupied. So, naturally I called the county dispatch to inform them that someone may be hurt in the area. It seemed unlikely but I've seen it before where someone gets out walks and collapses later from internal or head injuries.

I live on a small rural road. So, as I'm setting cones around the corner to alert any traffic to my and the vehicles presence a car pulls up and a mangy looking old man comes out of the driver side and says it's his car and that he was ran off the road in the turn.

I ask him if he is ok as my neighbor who is a retired Fireman/EMT comes walking down with his kit.

The man says he is fine... so we offer to help him pull the car out to avoid a tow bill. So as I'm accessing the damage and best way to pull the car, I start clearing broken T post's/ barb wire and branches while my neighbor positions his truck and gets his chain ready.

The police finally arrive, and start questioning us about the situation and help in directing traffic.

These little fiats suck for tow hook placement in the rear... there is one crossemeber that is way under there. So I lay on the wet ground and hook it up, we finally get it pulled out without any more damage and he starts it up to drive away as I notice the passenger wheel is knocked back and rubbing the fender well too much to be driven any distance. Then I notice the pile of beer cans right under where the driver door was. The Officer smelled the alcohol already but hadn't said anything... he let the guy get in the car and start to drive away before pulling him over for DUI... he was arrested. He didn't get ran off the road, he was drunk, on bald tires in the rain.

I felt like a jackass for pulling him out, and now my entire left arm is eaten up with poison oak!

I'm pissed! ? I can't work on models because my left (dominant) hand is a fiery/itching balloon!

Trying to be a nice guy did not pay off this time!

^ could have been worse... back around 2005, a Cavalier w/ 4 teenagers went off the road and crashed into some trees along the driveway of my family farm...police estimated they were going close to 100 mph..

Interesting story about the crashed Fiat. I feel bad for you trying to be a nice guy and in the end you get nothing but anguish.

That sounds like 4 fatalities... thats a damn shame.

People don't realize that it doesn't take a "fast" car to kill you... cars are kinda like guns... any of them can kill you all the same.

Had a similar thing happen here about 4yrs ago... kids doing about 90 on a small backroad by my house. One had taken his dad's old foxbody without permission... alcohol was involved. Needless to say out of the 3 only 1 lived. Trees stop cars folks.

The 2 lane road comes down a long hill, with a short flat section then a small bridge that’s like a hump then another flat section that my driveway went off, with a row of trees parallel to it.  Apparently they came down the hill too fast, crested the bridge and went airborne off the road into the trees…

(bridge in center of pic, my driveway on the left, trees on the left..).   This pic is from last summer, near the base of the hill…

I learned to drive on these roads, hadn’t lived there since the early 90s.  Sold the property last July after my brother (who was living there) passed in February....130 acres.

It's a pretty area in rural Ohio, 2 ponds on the property, 1859 house and huge 1884 barn and two detached garages.  My folks bought it in 1968, I lived there as a kid.
