  1. I couldn't agree more.
  2. Awesome looking red on very clean build.
  3. Spectacular work as always. Videos are always informative. Didn't realize CA glue could be used as a gap filler. You're very patient to have taken the time to remove the wiper blades.
  4. What NJ town was the hobby shop located in Tom? Just curious since I can only get Tamiya paints online.
  5. Nice build and great job lining up the decals. I've considered getting this kit myself.
  6. Well thanks for the info Bob. I'll have to get a can of that color.
  7. Fantastic color combination and your attention to detail is super.
  8. Great looking build and I really like the interior color as it has a fabric tan appearance.

Great paint finish and nice work on the canopy top. Wouldn't have known the hood hinges were incorrect if you hadn't mentioned it.
  10. Excellent work smoothing the front fascia. Are you going to include the rather bold hood decal as seen on the 1:1 car?
  11. Great work and color combination on a nicely detailed kit. I was fortunate to find one of these "Special Interest Series" kits a couple of years back. Had one when I was a kid but never finished it and not sure whatever happened to it. Just have to pick out the right colors and this build provides some ideas.
  12. Excellent work and I have to compliment you on such a great clear finish without any wet sanding. I've only been able to produce such a finish with sanding/polishing,
  13. Your work is always impeccable and very well detailed. I followed your WIP on this one and have a question. I noticed you foiled prior to clear coating and wondered if it were to "lock in" the foil or perhaps to change it's appearance with respect to brightness or shine?
  14. Good information. Thanks Mike.
  15. I have the 1987 release of the AMT '65 Pontiac Bonneville "Prestige Series" which included a piece of foil to be used for the rocker trim. Tried it last year during the build but it had lost it's adhesiveness however. Another very interesting topic btw.
  16. Very nice build and gold is always a great choice on these Firebirds. I like the gold paint on the wheels and eventually when I get around to building mine I'd like to do the same treatment.
  17. Turned out great Ray and it is a very nicely detailed kit. I've never built this one and wonder if the kit offers a set of factory wheel covers?
  18. Beautiful build all around and the black primer under the interior color is worth investigating since I do many white interiors myself.
  19. That turned out great.
  20. Excellent paint and foil work. Nice job picking out the the detail on the grill emblem. I have several of these '70 kits and love building them.
  21. Spectacular paint and foil work and Star Spangled blue is such a great color especially on the muscle cars.
  22. Spectacular work. I'd see this as a challenging model to foil.
  23. That's a very nice clean build.
  24. Excellent work on the build and an awesome diorama. Funny thing seeing this one as I'm just beginning to work on a '70 in very similar colors.
