  1. Beautiful clean build ??. Agreed - the 308 is the prettier car, but the 328 is still stunning. I like the photography, particularly the pictures In the dimmed light.
  2. Cool project. I always liked the car and remember the TV series as a kid. Will you be doing the engine stock from the Beetle kit?
  3. Great start. I also love this kit. The paint finish looks amazing. Thanks for the tip about the anti static brush. Dust specs are such an annoying problem for me.
  4. I am in awe of the carbon fibre work you have done here. You have got the diagonal weave perfectly mirrored left and right - that is impressive! I know why I have not yet started any of my Pagani models. It’s good to know that you are not experiencing any of the panel fit issues with that others have. Superb work. Very nearly done now.
  5. This is stunning! I just read through the WIP thread too. Fabulous detailing on the interior as well. I am not familiar with the 1:1 car, but it is just about the most perfect Mercury Custom.
  6. Fantastic detail. What did you use to make those antennas?
  7. This is simply stunning. Everything about this build is perfect. I have a couple of questions. Are those two little wire clips that secure the engine cover scratch built parts? Is the windshield a vac formed part? Im only asking as this kit is on my build list and if mine comes out looking half as good as yours, I’d be over the moon.
  8. Nice work. This turned out great. Those wheels really are perfect for this. Over the years I’ve built many models with Halfords spray can finishes too.

    66 Buick Wildcat

That’s a beauty. I’m not familiar enough with the Wildcat to know why the interior is incorrect, but it all looks perfect to me.
  10. That’s so cool ??
  11. All three are fantastic ??
  12. Well done on completing this tricky kit. Turned out great! White is also the poster car colour I had of the Countach when I was a teenager.
  13. All three are stunning. I can’t decide which I like the best. Well done on the quality of the finish and for choosing colours seldom seen on a Coutach.
  14. The fuel tank alone is a masterpiece. If the rest of the build is to be to this standard, this will be an epic model.
  15. This is going to be epic. I’m watching ??.
  16. Very nice indeed. That’s a great colour combination, and as you say, different from the usual.
  17. I have seen a few different bodies cast in resin, but I think the Airtrax one is the most accurate in shape. I have a 1:1 Cortina mk1 to compare against.
  18. Great looking paint job ??
  19. I’m still in awe of this build. It must be nearing completion now.
  20. Great work on the CF decals. This must be so tricky to do, but the results look fantastic.
  21. Great idea building this legend ??. Is this the resin body from Airtrax?
  22. This is looking fabulous. White is just perfect for the Countach. I built the Fujimi kit back in the 80s when it was first released, and I was still just a kid modeller. I remember being blown away by the detail of the Enthusiast Series kit, and I still have trauma from fitting the body to the chassis. I still have that model and it is very much worse for wear. Your Countach build is a million times better than mine. You are truly doing justice to such a great kit. Looking forward to seeing this finished.
  23. This build is simply fantastic!
  24. Very nicely detailed and just the right amount of weathering. This is coming along nicely.
  25. That looks fantastic. Good colour choices ??
