  1. Nice stang sir. I have not built many late models but 80% of my kits are Mustangs of all years.
  2. BOSS is a little lighter but it's the closest I have seen to this color.
  3. There is some subtle changes to make it into one of the two Quarterhorse prototypes.
  4. Great job Raoul. I got started on the Boss but never got beyond the body mods and paint stage. Can you identify the grabber blue one?
  5. Here's an option for those bad plastic or diecast kits. Make it one of a kind. This is a Palmer Boss 302.
  6. You can always repaint it and make a Sprint or an Eleanor. Change the grille and wheels and give it a whole new look.
  7. That is a frugly Camaro. I have a Motormax Mustang that has it's share of flaws. The hood should not have vents. The black stripe on the trunk is wrong, the grille is weird and the air cleaner should be blue just to name a few things. Since these things cost 1/10 of what a nice Danbury MInt model was ten years ago, I'd say I cannot be too critical.
  8. I'd say no but if you want your real engine to stand out until it gets dirty by all means. Otherwise I'd say it's close to a Mopar or Ford body color.
  9. For about a year in the 1970's I had a 69 GTS 440 magnum 3 speed auto on the column. After spinning the main bearing and being a dumb teenager I sold the car for $500. It was burnt orange with a white vinyl roof and rust in the rear quarters. BTW T your model looks fantastic.
  10. $23.90 which does not seem like a bad price. Hopefully our local supplier will get them by Christmas.
  11. Very cool. Next year it will be a Klingon battle cruiser.
  12. That video is insane. Where do people find the time for such an undertaking. As for the humor, I get that but sometimes just adding random stuff in other scales looks out of place.
  13. I have a real black 2014 convertible V6 but have not even thought about building one of my own car. Yours (his) looks great.
  14. Love the red on red. Some black wash in the grille and using the Molotow chrome pen on all the chrome and lower rocker molding will make it look even better.
  15. Come back anytime. The December meeting is the largest attendance wise,
  16. Check out www.mamasboyz.org for pictures, newsletters and links to more pictures from model and car shows. Glad to see a lot of the original members at the meeting Saturday.
  17. For those of you who only know HRM and Harold Bradford from his great resin products, here is a picture of him today with his lovely wife at todays MAMA 30th anniversary meeting. Photo courtesy Lyle Willits.
  18. Was this your first attempt? Looks pretty good to me except for that persky rear window.
  19. That's great. I'm not that organized so I try to post pics that I take in person before I forget. See the Allsport Mustang pics I just posted if you're interested in 90's TransAm Mustangs.
  20. Here are some pics that could help if you are building this model or one like it.
  21. On another note - so glad to see you today at MAMA today and don't be a stranger and come up again anytime. I'm just five minutes off 66/495 and you can come check out my collection which does include some Exoto cars. I'm guessing you can ID this car from the Glen last weekend.
  22. Certainly impressive for sure. Not sure if just buying them bring the same level of satisfaction as trying to create something you know you built. And then there is the scale which is a little large for many. Some are on sale for only $1500 and up.
  23. That is cool. THe only I built was all white and I had to paint everything. More models should be this easy.
  24. Must have been 48 hours straight. . It's impressive for sure. I built a diorama of it sinking but that picture is somewhere on the hard drive from about ten years ago.
  25. Found this old picture from the early 80's. I still have some of them but have repainted them or sacrificed them for parts. No big deal as they were not very good.
